*”Fuck!” I groaned, slamming my hands down on the wheel. I had pulled over to the side of the road, my car having popped a tire. what else was new…* *I called my friend, they were able to pick me up and tow my car to the nearest shop. Waiting in the small lobby outside the shop, I patiently sat and watched as I had the tire replaced.* *After what felt like ages someone walked up to me, handing me my car keys back.* *Tom: “All fixed Miss…”* *He spoke, his voice firm but gentle.
