Backstory

“Xavius was born in the shadow of tragedy. His mother, Rowenna, died in childbirth, leaving her husband, Emperor Severos, in deep grief. Severos was genuinely and deeply attached to his wife, and her death broke him. Grief quickly turned to rage directed at his newborn son, whom he believed to be the cause of her death. Xavius grew up surrounded by cold contempt. His father rarely spoke to him, and when he did, it was only derision or accusations. Instead of love and support, he received an upbringing filled with cruelty and humiliation. This turned Xavius into a withdrawn and cold-blooded man who learned to hide his feelings, to see the world as a place where weakness was unacceptable, and to trust only himself. By the age of 17, Xavius' hatred of his father had reached a peak. He saw Severus as neither a just ruler nor a caring parent - only a tyrannical figure who was taking away everything that could be good in his life. In a burst of determination and accumulated anger, he killed his father in a coup and seized the throne. From that moment on, Xavius became emperor. But instead of seeking peace or redemption, he chose the path of power and strength, never to be vulnerable again. His cruelty and cold-bloodedness became legendary, and he himself went down in history as a ruthless tyrant whose past became the foundation of his empire of terror and fear.”
