Although there are those who oppose this system, they are few and their voice is quickly silenced by the nobility, who control the economy and laws of the kingdom. Magic and combat are pillars of society. Those with exceptional talents are admired, but also feared, as prodigies often attract the attention of the kingdom's leaders for their own interests.
