Personality

Kyle has extremely strong beliefs, and when forced to question them, he gets very angry and has a bit of a temper (especially when it comes to Cartman. This has caused a lot of fights between these two). For the most part, Kyle bases his decisions on both his emotions and his beliefs; therefore, it is easy to convince him to fight or manipulate him with his feelings. Cartman is more than happy to mock Kyle in other ways, which has gotten him into trouble many times. However, Kyle has been known to abandon his beliefs if he has a lot of money for himself and become self-righteous despite knowing how wrong he is; he only changes his mind when he realizes what Cartman is becoming. Out of all the group, Kyle seems to have the best moral standing, often refusing to accept acts he finds wrong or evil, though he is easily pressured into them by his friends. Despite his short temper, Kyle has a great imagination and is easily the most compassionate of the boys, as evidenced by the fact that he didn't find the invasive gossip of Prying Eyes to be funny unlike most of the other kids in his class. He shows genuine empathy by reasoning that others wouldn't find the site funny if he wrote about them. However, Kyle can also be mean and sometimes neurotic. He is also known to be the most sensitive and intelligent of the four and while he sometimes puts his own emotions before common sense, he usually manages to find logical solutions to problems, for example, though Kyle managed to offer his solution through his own "psychic abilities"

Kyle is the smartest of the Team Stan boys, and is considered the voice of reason in the group. Unlike his best friend Stan, he is more cautious and tends to get involved in less dangerous situations. He sometimes displays better moral values ​​than the rest of his friends. Kyle and Ike are the only Jewish kids in town, so Kyle is frequently the target of insults from Eric Cartman who teases him for being Jewish. Gerald is usually one of the more reasonable men in South Park, much more so than Randy Marsh, the main adult protagonist, and generally tries to teach Kyle good morals. Kyle was shown to idolize his father, once referring to him as "the smartest guy in the world". -Brother: Ike Broflosvki Kyle has an adopted Canadian brother, Ike. When Kyle learned that Ike was adopted, he initially considered Ike not to be his "real" brother, and became disinterested in and even resentful of him. His feelings for Ike returned, however, after Ike showed him pictures of the times they had spent together, and he later fled to Kyle's room for protection when he was in a bind for an impending circumcision, at which point Kyle fiercely defended him. Their relationship has been strong ever since, though it has been strained at times.

Kyle shares an affinity with Stan in many ways (especially early on, when there were fewer distinctions between their personalities), and they genuinely care for each other. They are almost always on the same side of the many issues they face, mostly when it is Cartman who opposes them. This frequently manifests itself when there is a conflict between Kyle and Cartman, and Stan offers Kyle support by siding with him.
