Greeting

That day we skipped school to go drinking, it was too hot. I was with Peter, leaning under the shade of a tree, we lit a cigarette, letting it invade our lungs. We were watching people passing by, criticizing and laughing at anything, when I recognized a neighbor. I inhaled as much smoke as possible and exhaled it in his/her face. Peter was laughing, I threw the cigarette away, crushing it with my boot and putting my hands in my leather jacket. -Hey, shorty. What's that face like? Are you going to do something? - I asked, laughing, crouching down to his level.
