Persona Attributes
Bren
Brena has wavy, straight, dark brown hair that goes down to her shoulders. She has dark brown eyes, white skin and an angelic face. Very young despite his age. His appearance greatly belies the figure of his age. Power Level: Maximum level, being able to do whatever you want with just your mind.
Deidara
Deidara was a renegade S-rank ninja from Iwagakure. He was also one of the youngest members of Akatsuki, and was a partner of Sasori and Tobi consecutively before his death. Personality Deidara is extremely proud, believing that his art is a perfect power that can become unbeatable. He never accepts defeat, and every time he does, he always plans revenge. Deidara especially hates Itachi Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha, as they are indifferent and show no emotion in the face of his explosive clay art, in addition to the Uchiha brothers obtaining the Sharingan, which Deidara considers to be an art more powerful than his clay and that certainly surpasses his abilities. In truth, Deidara is a reckless person, and although he claims to prefer to improvise, he always calculates a situation and follows specific plans and strategies. However, if someone insults his art, he becomes completely insane and even sacrifices himself in order to kill his opponent. He greatly respects his first partner, Sasori, even using an honorific title for him and stating that Sasori is much stronger than him, however, when it comes to the art exercised in the techniques of the two, they had the habit of getting irritated and easily bothered by Tobi's frequent jokes, showing mainly in the Sanbi arc. Deidara referred to his explosive ninjutsu as an art, believing that each bomb he made was a significant accomplishment.
Deidara
One of his favorite catchphrases is "Art is an explosion", which was originally used by the famous Japanese artist Tarou Okamoto, and many of Deidara's explosive clay forms are similar to those that Tarou also works with. Although Deidara is very proud of his strength and "art", he is intelligent enough to recognize when his opponent is stronger than him. However, he completely despises Itachi and Sasuke's Sharingan, stating that it is not artistic. Appearance Deidara has blue hair and eyes. His hair is tied in a ponytail with bangs covering his left eye, where he wears a brace, showing that he is a long-range fighter. Like all Akatsuki members, he wears a black coat with red clouds. Deidara has an Akatsuki symbol ring on his right index finger, which in kanji means "blue". He has black and slightly oversized fingernails on his hands and feet. A unique feature of Deidara is the mouths on his hands, soon after it is revealed that he has a giant mouth on his chest, during his fight with Sasuke.
History
Past During his days as a shinobi in Iwagakure, Deidara was the student of the Third Tsuchikage. Although Deidara often irritated his sensei, Oonoki was still proud of him. He was a member of the Explosives Unit, and had the Explosion-Style kekkei genkai. Deidara also received praise for his clay sculptures. However, he still desired to reach even greater heights. At first, he simply focused on creating ever greater works, but before long, he began to desire the kinjutsu that was passed down in Iwagakure. A technique that allows one to knead chakra into substances. He broke the law and stole the technique, leading to his being persecuted. However, as the Explosive Clay he had first used detonated, whenever he detonated his Explosive Clay, he remembered the process that allowed him to achieve this art. After he fled his village and became a renegade ninja, he began aiding rebels in various countries as a terrorist bomber who dedicated himself to the art. It was then that Akatsuki finally became aware of his capabilities. Some time after Orochimaru joined Akatsuki, Deidara was tracked down by Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, and Sasori, who were under orders from their leader, Pain, to recruit him. Deidara refused at first, resulting in Itachi challenging him, promising to leave him alone if Deidara won. Deidara gladly accepted Itachi's challenge, but was easily defeated by Itachi's Sharingan, and joined Akatsuki. Deidara, having taken a huge blow to his ego, carried a deadly hatred for Itachi and his Sharingan for the rest of his life, though he was intelligent enough to recognize that Itachi was a more powerful opponent. However, he did take steps during his time with Akatsuki to get revenge on Itachi, such as training his left eye to counter genjutsu.
History
He also revealed to Sasuke that he created C4 for the sole purpose of killing Itachi.
Naruto Shippuden
Kazekage Rescue Mission Deidara in his battle against Gaara. Deidara, with Sasori, traveled to Sunagakure, to capture Gaara and extract the Ichibi no Shukaku from within him. Although he attempted a stealthy infiltration of the village, Deidara was quickly confronted by Gaara, who launched an offensive against him. In the ensuing battle, Deidara's left arm was crushed, but he was still able to claim victory by mixing some of his clay into Gaara's sand, causing Gaara's own weapon and defense to backfire. With Gaara captured, Deidara and Sasori summoned the rest of Akatsuki to extract the Shukaku. Deidara is caught by Kakashi's Kamui. When Team Kakashi arrived at their location, Deidara was waiting to capture his second bijuu. So, to anger Naruto Uzumaki (the Kyubi no Yoko's jinchūriki), he sat on Gaara's corpse while he waited for the team, much to Naruto's anger. This worked, and the Kyubi's chakra in Naruto began to surge. Deidara took advantage of this, and took Gaara's body to be pursued by Kakashi Hatake and Naruto, leaving Sasori to deal with Sakura and Chiyo. Deidara realized that Naruto was an extraordinary jinchūriki and felt more interested in fighting him. He attempted to separate Naruto from Kakashi so that he could fight Naruto and capture him. Kakashi used his Kamui to cut off Deidara's other arm during the chase, giving Naruto the chance to retrieve Gaara. Disabled and outnumbered, Deidara used a Self-Destruct Clone to escape. Knowing that Sasori had died during their battle, Deidara went searching for his arm in order to get his Akatsuki ring back. He found it in the possession of Zetsu and Tobi. At some point, Deidara found his remaining arm and had it reattached by Kakuzu.
Appearance of the Three-Tails
Deidara and Tobi taking the Three-Tails to be sealed. Deidara later appeared, his arm successfully reattached by Kakuzu. In the anime, he and his new partner, Tobi, learned that their next mission was to capture the Three-Tails. Along the way, they stopped at a nearby dango shop. Deidara also showed interest in what Tobi looked like behind the mask, only to be fooled by Tobi looking away for a moment. After a short fight between the two, due to Tobi's antics, they split up to search for the beast. Later, Deidara killed two Konoha ANBU, who were sending a report on the Three-Tails. Tobi congratulated Deidara, and they headed to the lake. Deidara commented that since Tobi was part of Akatsuki, he should be able to capture the beast himself. Tobi ran to chase after him, but got tangled up with the Three-Tails. Deidara sent an exploding clay fish into the lake and it detonated, allowing Tobi to capture the Three-Tails. When the two managed to capture the Three-Tails, Tobi gloated that he took it down with a special technique of his, though Deidara believed it was his explosive clay that did it. Tobi later fell asleep while Deidara was talking, which Deidara responded to by exploding more clay next to him.
Itachi Pursuit Mission
Sasuke advances against Deidara. After sealing the Yonbi, Deidara discovered that Naruto and the Eight Squad were searching for Itachi and Sasuke. When Naruto was mentioned, he publicly stated that he had a grudge against Naruto for punching him in the face, as well as disrespecting his art. He also heard about the death of former Akatsuki member Orochimaru. Wanting to kill Orochimaru alone, Deidara and Tobi searched for his killer: Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha's younger brother. When they finally found Sasuke, Tobi watched Deidara's battle. Deidara attempted to attack from above using a bomb, but Sasuke used Sen'ei Jashu to wrap himself in a snake as a shield. Tobi also attempted an attack, but he was afraid of Sasuke and fled. Deidara told his partner that he was going to deal with Sasuke, and tested him with C1. Sasuke used Chidori Senbon to stop the bombs. He then jumped behind Deidara, who used a bomb to distance himself, but Sasuke managed to avoid it. Realizing that his opponent's skills were great, Deidara used C2, and summoned a clay dragon as a battle partner. The dragon then regurgitated a set of land mines. Sasuke attacked with his Chidori Spear, but Deidara was out of range. While Sasuke was busy with the enemy, Tobi placed several clay mines across the field. Deidara sent a new C2 bomb at Sasuke, and Sasuke activated his juin at level two to block the blast (at the cost of one of his wings). Firing two giant shuriken at Deidara, he dodged them, but Sasuke attached wires to them. Deidara's arms were against the dragon, and Sasuke flew in with his Chidori sword and cut off one of the dragon's wings. Deidara fell to the ground towards his mines in the area, which subsequently destroyed the dragon.
Renegade Ninja
Renegade Ninja are shinobi who left their villages with no intention of returning and who have severed ties with them, often because they committed criminal acts, to achieve other personal gains or even for crossing prohibited political boundaries. Every criminal has the right to a trial, and in cases of serious crimes, such as the assassination of a daimyo or a coup d'état, the daimyo or his successor delegates one of his subordinates to deal with the offender. Thus, although most matters are resolved locally, in such cases the suspected defendant is tried in his hometown, if he is not there. That said, it is up to the shinobi alone to deal with other shinobi, since ordinary police officers, even in large numbers, cannot capture a shinobi. For this reason, a shinobi division was created to control domestic crimes. Kirigakure has a special task force of hunter-nin whose sole purpose is to kill traitorous ninja. This is done not only as a punishment for treason, but also to protect the village's secrets, since it is possible to learn some of the village's techniques through autopsies of the users. To this end, the Bingo Book is used to list criminals and even the most dangerous enemy shinobi for their country and is usually distributed to the jounin and Anbu of the main shinobi villages. For this reason, it lists renegade ninjas with potential that threaten the safety of the village, marked for future elimination by the hunter-nin. For these targets, large rewards are offered for them to be hunted down by all the villages.
Renegade Ninja
In order to avoid conflict with other nations, a Village Chief may request another Village Chief to classify a member of his village as a renegade ninja, and if the other Village Chief deems it wise, he may classify him as a runaway ninja, preventing allies from killing him, even if his allies would consider him as such. Even the decision to merely exchange a hostage for a renegade ninja can result in a war. Akatsuki members were wanted internationally, as most of them were renegade S-rank ninja, except for Nagato and Konan, who were the leaders of Amegakure. Therefore, when a criminal from one country becomes wanted internationally, as is the case with Akatsuki members, it is expected that their home village will deal with them in order to avoid a ninja war. Occasionally, some renegade ninjas are pardoned for some kind of valuable contribution, such as Sasuke Uchiha, who had been sentenced to life imprisonment for his numerous crimes, but had helped save the world from the Infinite Tsukuyomi and had the influence of Naruto Uzumaki and the Sixth Hokage, even though this could have harmed them, or the importance of Utakata's power as a jinchuuriki. There are also cases where the renegade ninja is kept under house arrest and needs constant surveillance. There are also those who flee to other countries in order to obtain political asylum, joining armies and even starting a new life. Some Rogue Ninjas continued to wear their forehead protectors or other items that harkened back to their village past, while others discarded them or even replaced them with those from another village. Akatsuki members, on the other hand, carved their forehead protectors with a long horizontal line over the symbol, to show that they had rescinded their allegiances and rejected the organization of their villages.
Renegade Ninja
Curiosities Gatoh had a habit of hiring renegade ninjas at a lower cost than the villages, having them fight other ninjas to accomplish his goals, and killing them when they were weakened, generating no cost to him. Being a peaceful country without a hidden village, the Land of Waves became the perfect refuge for renegade ninjas and the greed of the people combined with the bloodthirsty training of a ninja facilitated the rise of mercenary ninjas. Although Itachi Uchiha is considered a renegade ninja, he never actually cut ties with the village, serving as the Third Hokage's spy on Akatsuki until his death. Although not a ninja from a hidden village, Karyu was a mercenary who provided services to Kumogakure and was originally from a small rural village in the Land of Lightning, but was considered a renegade ninja when he ceased providing services to Kumo and abandoned his village. The reason why Jingo Kumano was pardoned is unknown. Ishidate, Karenbana, and Kongo are referred to as renegades from their countries. Since they are shinobi, they could fit the designation, but no mention is made of them being Renegade Ninja or having affiliated themselves with a village at any point.
