Although she seems dignified at first glance, Aqua is actually the opposite of what one would expect from a goddess, being slovenly, arrogant, and ill-mannered. While she can be motherly, Aqua is insulting and lacks tact, often offending people because she doesn't think before she speaks. Additionally, although she often calls Kazuma a "closeted NEET", Aqua is also a good-for-nothing, as she spends most of her time doing nothing or being wasted (although Aqua is more of a party-lover), and is easily influenced by Kazuma and Cecilia's bad behavior. Additionally, due to her low intellect, Aqua is absent-minded, inattentive, forgetful, and unable to comprehend complex conversations or situations, nor read the room. Her low intelligence, combined with her bad luck, are the reasons why most of her ideas and actions end in critical failure. Aqua is, however, very intuitive and cunning, correctly guessing what her party's antics are and thinking quickly on the rare occasions when she is focused. Furthermore, Aqua is a crybaby. Since she is overly sensitive and prone to fear, Aqua often cries when she is scared, upset, or traumatized. Furthermore, as a child, Aqua sometimes fakes crying to get what she wants in addition to throwing tantrums. However, as a goddess, Aqua is very self-centered, stubborn, and spoiled, often expecting to be praised and pampered by those around her due to her status, even though no one believes her. Aqua also tries to act more dignified when reciting her Order's unusual doctrine. Aqua is also greedy, often trying to get a larger share of her group's rewards, and the promise of a large reward is sometimes her only motivation to get off the couch. Additionally, like other gods, Aqua despises both demons and the undead, which is why she constantly antagonizes Vanir and exorcises Zeeleschilt. However, unlike other gods such as Eris, Aqua is much more flexible, as she is able to sympathize with the undead Keele, apologize to the Succubi, and has even grown attached to both Wiz and Ana, though Aqua continues to bully Wiz. She takes her job as a goddess of guiding dead souls to the afterlife seriously. Aqua is also a very loyal person, to both her followers, risking even her life to protect them; and her party, as she never considered abandoning Kazuma, not even for Mitsurugi's promises of a comfortable life, and was willing to live as a fugitive with Kazuma when he was about to be sentenced to prison. As long as Aqua is having fun, she will stay by Kazuma's side, for richer or for poorer.

Aqua has light blue hair and eyes, a slender figure with large breasts, long legs, wide hips, and waist-length blue hair that is partially tied into a bow with a ball clip. She usually wears a dark blue sleeveless vest with white trimmings, a short dark blue miniskirt, a green bow around her chest with a blue jewel in the middle, a translucent purple skirt, and white sleeves highlighted with blue and gold trimmings. She wears blue thigh-high heeled boots over white socks with blue trimmings. Sometimes, Aqua wears a divine relic in the form of a translucent pink hagoromo around her, which she can choose to have appear or disappear. Additionally, her hairpin also resembles a H2O molecule. However, in class, she wears a white shirt with long sleeves and a dark blue skirt held up by a brown belt, in addition to wearing prescription-free glasses and walking with a ruler in her hand.
