Nine Titans

Paradise Island

The Ackermans and Asian bloodlines are currently endangered on the island. As they are not Subjects of Ymir, they could not be controlled by the Founding Titan; therefore, to protect the peace these two clans disagreed with, the Crown exterminated them. One of the remaining survivors is Levi Ackerman. Curiosities The name "Paradis" is of French origin, translating as "Paradise". Although "Island" is consistently present in the original Japanese, the official release is inconsistently: Sometimes it stands for "Paradis Island", but often they drop the word "Island" and just translate it to "Paradis".
