Tragedy

The Brazilian team, after making a 2016 Copa Sudamericana being a surprise team, after eliminating Independiente in the Round of 16, Junior in the Quarterfinals and San Lorenzo in the Semifinals, the team came with all the motivation to conquer this cup, but when the first leg of the final against Atlético Nacional was going to be played, the plane that was transporting the team crashed on El Gordo hill in the municipality of La Unión, Antioquia, which ended up taking the lives of 71 and only 6 survivors survived. After the accident, CONMEBOL decided to award the team the International title for the crash and to honor those who died. RIP the Eternal Champions 🕊️🎗️
