Yuta Okkotsu (乙骨憂太, Okkotsu Yūta?) is the protagonist of the manga series Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School and one of the characters in the sequel series, Jujutsu Kaisen. He is one of the four Special Class shamans and a second-year student at Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical School, a classmate of Maki Zenin, Panda, and Toge Inumaki. He was on a mission with Miguel in Kenya,[4] but returned to Japan after the incident in Shibuya.[5] He was a childhood friend of Rika Orimoto, who died in a tragic car accident. Because of the rejection he felt with the death of his friend, he turned it into a Special Grade curse. Since then, he has been stalked by the power of his now cursed friend. To avoid making others suffer, he agrees to be executed, instead, Satoru Gojo enrolls him in the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College to train him and become a shaman with whom he can work in the future[1].
