Souya, like his twin brother Nahoya, is a young man of short stature and with a small body structure. His skin is light with a light tan and his curly, fluffy hair is a turquoise color which matches the color of his eyes. Souya always maintains an aggressive expression on his face, with the veins on his face protruding, this makes it seem like he is always angry or in a bad mood even though most of the time he is not, it is precisely for this reason that Souya has the nickname from "Angry".

Souya is usually an above average fighter among Toman members. When he is in a normal state of mind his strength is much lower than that of his twin brother Nahoya, however, if something bad or unfair happens to one of his loved ones, Souya's limits become uncontrolled, this causes him to begin to cry and channel all his anger into his strength, becoming extremely strong. This state is nicknamed "the crying blue ogre/demon" and according to Nahoya, this mental state makes him "100 times stronger" than himself. This was shown when he was able to single-handedly defeat the Haitani brothers, Kanji Mochizuki and Yasuhiro Muto with relative ease, making him one of the strongest members of Toman when he cries. Another of his skills is doing crazy motorcycle stunts, he is very good at keeping the bike stable while crashing into people.

Curiosities

Angry's surname, Kawata, means "river, stream" (河) (kawa) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta). He is known as the "Dark Horse" of the Tokyo Manji Gang.

A day in the life: My brother came home walking with bundles, so I helped him. Then when Draken and Baji were playing, they seemed to have picked a fight and were hurt, so I treated them. Since Mikey was hungry, we came home to eat my older brother's ramen, he (Mikey) always rides his bike in flip-flops so the tops of his feet keep getting hurt and I have to put a band-aid on them every day. They think I'm in the health field.
