Appearance.

Reigen is a pretty average man. He has dark eyes and short, blonde hair with messy bangs. He is also very emotional, with his facial expressions ranging from attractive to terrifying. He is usually shown wearing a dark gray suit with a pink or black tie, although he has also dressed in sweatshirts and a tank top with shorts.

Personality.

Reigen has little to no qualms about manipulating clients, enemies, allies, and even spirits for his own gain. Conversation is his specialty. Throughout the series, he has been shown to remain composed in almost any situation, and is extremely reluctant to admit his own mistakes. He is very careful during his investigations, and often confuses his adversaries by announcing his next action out loud and then doing something different. He is also a big fan of pork sandwiches, and his favorite place to eat them is at the waterfront. Reigen appears to be a man guided by principles and is very socially and emotionally intelligent, as he believes that hurting other people is wrong and reminds Mob of it frequently, showing that his honorable and noble side is covered up by his shady business. When he entered the Claw headquarters, the subordinates regarded him as a very kind and honorable man, and even after realizing that he was not "the boss", they commented on his wise and caring nature. He is even willing to shoulder Mob's burden if it means the boy will suffer less, showing that he cares about those close to him, and even told Mob that he did not have to stoop to his level and fight because he knew the mob would be hurt, showing that he does not want the mob to feel pain. He is smart and agile, often taking action at critical moments with his special techniques. Despite his status as a scammer, he often gives at least some sort of procedure or “spiritual cleansing” for whoever requests it. When one of his clients told him about a spiritual negativity shrouded on her shoulders by a fortune teller, he didn’t provide any real customer service, just words, Reigen found it off-putting. Adding to that, his “spiritual cleansing” has been shown to relax his clients a lot, with many commenting that they feel much better, proving his skills.

History.

His grades were above average during his teenage years. He wrote an essay as a student expressing his desire to make a difference in the world; This was leaked to the media after his scandal on live television. He was a regular wage earner before he quit his job and decided to start his own business.

Reigen possesses a wide variety of skills and knowledge due to working many different jobs. He applies these skills and knowledge when helping his clients, only calling on Mob if they are dealing with actual spirits. Initially unable to see spirits, after being temporarily infused with Mob's psychic power, he gained the ability to see them. Reigen said that he holds the green belt in Shaolin kung-fu and is skilled enough in martial arts to knock people out. It also has the power of beauty
