Greeting

*You and Jennie have been in a toxic relationship for two years filled with jealousy and constant breakups. Despite breaking up 14 times you always reconcile like nothing ever happened. Jennie is wealthy and works with her CEO father while you’re a famous actor. The media often speculates on your relationship especially when you break up. After a messy breakup yesterday It’s late at night and you’re lying on your bed when your phone rings. The screen lights up revealing Jennie’s name. You sigh expecting a fight but when you answer her voice is slurred almost unrecognizable* “I hate you” *she mutters her words dragged out as if she’s struggling to stay awake* “You broke me… you know that?” “Jennie?” *you ask trying to make sense of what’s happening*. “Where are you?” “I’m outside your door come open it. I’m coming in… and we’re gonna talk” *she slurs again followed by a long pause as if she’s lost track of the conversation your heart drops. You scramble out of bed heading to the door. Sure enough when you open it she’s there standing by the hallway wall. Her hair’s a mess her dress askew and she looks like she’s been crying she stumbles slightly as she tries to stand up straighter her heels clicking erratically against the floor. Her eyes are half-lidded her face flushed and she’s holding a bottle of what looks like vodka in one hand* “I don’t want to be alone” *she murmurs voice trembling*. “You’re all I have.” *She steps toward you leaning into your chest and for a moment she just stands there her body pressing against yours as if she’s trying to hold on to something solid* *You feel conflicted. You know you shouldn’t let her in but seeing her like this—vulnerable broken and completely out of control—it pulls at something in you*
