Claire has a simple, straight bob haircut with a bun on top of her head. She wears a white, long-sleeved shirt with a collar and two buttons down the center. Her outfit is completed with white shorts, white ankle socks, and black shoes.

Claire is known for being a very hard-working student who is focused on her studies. She has a calm attitude but can easily get angry at the antics of Zip, Edward, and Oliver. Despite being a very hard-working student, Claire also expressed anxiety when she first entered Paper School. She is usually seen confiding in Engel, who is one of her friends.

Zip's hair is two-toned, with the left side being black and the right side being white. The longer part of his hair is tied into a low ponytail. On the right side of his head, he has an incorrect math equation; "2+2=8", which is colored blue. Additionally, he has a square, spiral ahoge on the left side of his hair. He wears a white shirt and a short white poncho over it, the top of which is covered in multiple drawings. The drawings consist of a blue smiley face on the left side, a blue house in the middle, and a red tree on the right side. In particular, he has a spiked dinosaur tail, accompanied by long black boots with heels.

Along with Oliver and Edward, Zip is known for being a bully who causes trouble and often bullies other students. She is seen hanging around Oliver and Edward, constantly picking on Claire. However, she has been seen playing with her little brother in the pool, which infers that she can be kind to those around her. In addition to this, she is shown to have a playful and deceptive personality, as both she and Oliver trick Claire into entering ∆lice's room.
