Appearance

Tenya is a relatively tall and muscular young man with a wide body. He has short, straight dark blue hair trimmed to the left of his head, a shaved nape, and fairly square eyes that match the noticeably pointed shape of his jaw. He usually has a serious expression and his eyebrows appear to be permanently furrowed, quite thin and long, the far ends are tightly hooked inwards and he wears glasses with rectangular lenses. Personality

Tenya may appear stern, unfriendly, and even intimidating at first glance, but he is actually a very sincere, intelligent, disciplined, and noble person, also a bit clueless about personal interactions due to his elite upbringing. Overall Abilities: Tenya has repeatedly proven himself to be a very formidable combatant. Thanks to his Quirk, Tenya has been revered as one of the fastest students in Class 1-A and uses his increased speed to complement his fighting style which involves powerful, high-speed kicks that can even crush metal. Using his incredible speed and quick reflexes, Tenya was able to defeat Ibara Shiozaki one of the most formidable students in Class 1-B and nearly defeated Shoto Todoroki one of the strongest students in Class 1-A but the latter surprised Tenya by freezing his silencers before encasing Tenya in ice. Shoto and Izuku two of the most powerful students in their class have both commented on Tenya's superior speed and while Izuku has trained himself to keep up with Tenya, Shoto is unable to keep up with all of Tenya's high speed moves. When faced with Stain, a powerful villain or RankS who surpassed many pro heroes, which included Tensei, Tenya himself wants to avenge him so much that he was almost killed by the Hero Killer. But after Izuku and Shoto arrived to help, Tenya discarded his desire for revenge and was able to fend off Stain while working alongside his two classmates. In said fight, Tenya with the help of Shoto, was able to take advantage of a new Super Move "Recipro Extend" to help successfully immobilize Stain. Following his encounter with the Hero Killer, Tenya is recognized as one of the strongest students in Class 1-A, as noted by Pixie-bob. During Team Training, Tenya using the advice given to him by his older brother, was able to increase his speed to the point where he is much faster than Gran Torino. With his new speed combined with his fighting style, Tenya was able to overwhelm Juzo Honenuki a recommended student and force him to retreat.

Tactical Intellect: Tenya ranked second in the intelligence exams, proving his tremendous academic prowess. Tenya also has strategic and tactical skills. When facing the Hero Killer, Tenya recalled how Shoto had frozen his silencers during their battle at the UA Sports Festival and used it as a battle tactic to further increase his speed to blind Stain. When he was paired up with Mashirao Ojiro to fight Power Loader in the final exams, Tenya came up with a strategy which involved carrying Mashirao on his back and using "Recipro Burst" to quickly evade the traps Power Loader had set. When it seemed like the Hero was about to defeat them Tenya quickly thought of another plan, in which Mashirao wrapped his tail around Tenya's leg and Tenya himself used "Recipro Extend" to throw Mashirao into the escape door, while the latter stood still. Quickly securing victory for the two. Leadership Skills: Tenya is a strong leader, as shown when he was able to calm his panicking classmates during an evacuation that turned into a stampede. Tenya became the president of Class 1-A after Izuku resigned and gave him the position, thinking he was better suited for the job.

Engine (エンジン Enjin?): Tenya's Quirk manifests in the form of car engines on each of his calves, granting him great speed and extreme kicking power. His engines have multiple gears, allowing him to switch between at least First, Second, or Third Gear (more are implied) depending on the situation. Much like a real engine, his Quirk requires the exhaust pipes on the back of his legs to remain clear of obstructions in order to function properly. Tenya needs to fuel his engines by drinking orange juice. Some time before Team Training his older brother Tensei told him about a secret family method regarding his Quirk. This led to Tenya removing the silencers from his legs in order to grow new ones to withstand his training. This exhibits his capacity for pain and perseverance. His Recipro now lasts for 10 minutes, instead of ten seconds. However, it becomes so fast that he cannot control himself.

His Hero Costume consists of a black one-piece suit with a high collar, over which he wears several pieces of armor, all pale silver in color including a chest plate, a metal collar around his neck and another around his upper arm, and metal bracers that extend past his elbows, pointing out at the ends. He wears a helmet that covers his entire face, its sharp snout riddled with holes to allow him to speak and breathe easily and its rounded top piece atop his head with two larger holes on either side, two curved horns just behind it, and a single spike sticking out of the back of his head. Standing, he wears knee-high silver boots with golden accessories, which are specialized for his Quirk, and around his torso, he has three thick metal tubes joined together with a blue band, although these only serve as decoration. His armor is very light and does not protect him much. Hero Suit: Tenya's Hero Suit is an armored suit that is supposed to decrease wind resistance, but is actually mostly for decoration. Contrary to appearances, his armor is lightweight. Ingenium Boots: The boots contain cooling devices and other mechanisms that increase the performance of their engines. Super moves

Engine Boost (エンジンブースト Enjinbūsuto ?): Engine Boost allows Tenya to temporarily increase his speed. This is the only Super Move that does not have Recipro in its name. Recipro Burst (レシプロバースト Reshipuro Bāsuto ?): This move allows Tenya to forcibly accelerate his Quirk, giving Tenya greatly enhanced speed for 10 seconds at the cost of disabling his engines for a short period of time afterwards. This is the enhanced version of Engine Boost. Recipro Extend (レシプロエクステンド Reshipuro Ekusutendo ?): After Tenya manages to cool down the negative effects of Recipro Burst, he regains even more acceleration than before. Recipro Turbo (レシプロターボ Reshipuro Tābo ?): After removing his silencers and allowing new ones to grow in their place, Tenya was able to accelerate his Quirk and enhance his speed for 10 minutes. The speed granted by this Super Move is faster than both Recipro Burst and Recipro Extend, rivaling even Gran Torino's Jet.

Appearance

Denki has relatively short blonde hair, parted on the right with a black lightning bolt-shaped streak to the left of his side bangs, which is angled so that it partially obscures his left eye. He has slanted, somewhat triangular yellow eyes and small eyebrows. He is slightly thinner than most of the other male students in his class and does not have much visible muscle mass. At UA he wears the standard male uniform with the second button of his jacket undone and dark brown shoes. After being attacked by Mr. Compress, he gained a scar on the upper left side of his forehead. In his first Hero Suit he wears a plain white shirt, over which he wears an open black jacket with a white lightning bolt pattern on the back, and matching pants with two lines running down his legs. He has a single square-shaped earpiece over his right ear, something resembling a radio antenna sticking out of the top. His updated Hero Suit consists of a slightly shorter black jacket with fewer white patterns, only two near the hem and collar, and a yellow lightning bolt bordered around each of his shoulders. He still wears matching black pants, but they only have a small zig-zag near each of his cuffs, and he wears a belt and a white v-necked shirt. Around his right wrist, he wears a bracelet with a circular mechanism from which he can fire disc-shaped pointers that help him aim his Quirk, and he wears an earpiece with a blue-tinted visor.

Personality

Denki is a kind, sociable, and energetic boy who enjoys talking to people. He's very good at making friends and is rather casual when interacting with others, including antagonistic figures such as Katsuki Bakugo or Hitoshi Shinso, though he's also not above petty complaining or overreacting if he feels sufficiently upset or shocked. Denki can come across as gruff and reckless at times, but he always means well. Denki's relaxed attitude. He is also a bit mischievous, occasionally joining in on pranks. Denki isn't very bright academically and has the worst grades in his class, so he needs help when it comes to studying due to his constant neglect of schoolwork.

Electrification (帯たい電でん Taiden ?): Denki's Quirk allows him to emit electricity from his body as a protective aura, which can paralyze anyone who comes into contact with it. By using his electricity, Denki gains a defense mechanism that shocks those who touch him. If he produces too much electricity, he sends out a shock that lashes out in several directions (usually in a small perimeter surrounding him), surprising anyone nearby. Denki has little to no control over it and if he goes over his power limit, his brain will short-circuit, lowering his IQ for a period of one hour, during which he will also be unable to use his Quirk until he recovers.
