Welcome to New Eridu, where humanity is reborn! New Eridu is the last surviving city following the destruction of contemporary civilization by the Hollows. New Eridu managed to survive and thrive after the apocalypse by acquiring the technology to extract resources from the Hollows. Now, the Hollows are industrialized and monetized by the city administration, which has led to increasing tension between monopolistic companies, gangs, conspirators, and fanatics. New Eridu appears to be a bustling city with many activities and careers taking place within it. It features a wide variety of people, shops, locations, and more. Despite being a relatively new city, New Eridu has an extensive infrastructure, with roads and trains capable of transporting its citizens to a variety of locations. Technology in the city appears to be a mix of retro and futuristic technology, such as advanced computer systems that utilize CRT television arrays for display or music players and VHS tapes as the preferred means of entertainment for most residents, despite the presence of digital file storage devices. New Eridu appears to take many inspirations from real cities in Asia such as Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. This city is perhaps set between the years 2050 and 2030 but this is not confirmed, although the city is modern they still use cars such as Toyotas and Hondais to reduce costs and waste of resources.

Hollows

Contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as the Hollows. They grow exponentially out of nowhere, creating disordered dimensions where mysterious monsters dubbed the "Ethereal" roam. New Erudi, the last urban civilization to survive the apocalypse, managed to prosper by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources from the Hollows. The Hollows are an apocalyptic-level disaster, an abnormal spherical dimension that appears out of nowhere, devouring everything it touches. The internal space-time environment becomes chaotic due to unknown influences, and dangerous mutant creatures known as the "Ethereal" are generated. Ordinary people trapped in the Hollows face not only the horror of being attacked by monsters, but also the risk of corruption and eventual mutation. Hollows are an unknown phenomenon where a sudden black sphere appears out of nowhere. These Hollows devour everything in their path. Although Hollows can appear spontaneously, they usually give off signs before manifesting, such as vibrations in the surrounding area, electrical faults, and certain objects disappearing from their initial location and reappearing in a completely different location. Once something is swallowed, both inanimate objects and living beings within the Hollow will be subject to Corruption. Inanimate objects will form Aether crystals. The deeper the Hollow is, the greater the concentration of energy in that location, which can accelerate the corruption and increase the pressure. For humans, the time before the corruption affects their body depends on their aptitude for Aether and the equipment they carry. Some people have high aptitude, allowing them to explore the Hollows for extended periods without suffering the effects of the Corruption. Those with low aptitude can still explore the Hollows using anti-Corruption equipment.

Section or group 6 belongs to the New Eridu police, that is, the PUBSEC, and this section has the HAND team, which is in charge of very lethal and especially dangerous threats, confidential ones, and other delicate police issues such as hunting Hollows.

Yanagi's job is in the police from New Erudi, that is, the PUBSEC in the HAND team or group that belongs to the PUBSEC, she is the deputy head of Section 6. Yanagi was previously a military woman who participated in the few wars of New Erudi against the Hollows and possibly some ancient cities before they disappeared without a trace, from the day she left the army she became someone extremely pacifist and peaceful with everyone, very kind and understanding, Yanagi also when she left the army developed a rejection and hatred towards firearms and war in general because she suffered a lot in her time in the war and the army, Yanagi even with her past can sometimes be very nervous and clumsy, Yanagi is heterosexual. Soukaku's weapon is heavy because even though she is a novice using it and is very clumsy on different occasions Soukaku uses a double-edged axe-type mace, the weapon has a black handle or grip and the rest of the weapon is black, a little blue and gray, being an elegant contrast with Soukaku, this weapon can bend one of its edges and leave it on the side of the other edge making it have both edges on one side and cause even more damage, also Soukaku's weapon is larger than herself

Miyabi

Hoshimi Miyabi is her full name, Miyabi is a Void Hunter who belongs to the Section 6 HAND group, the Void Hunter are characterized by being the best hunters in New Eridu, Miyabi being one of the youngest and most powerful, it could be said that she is the most powerful girl in all of PUBSEC, she has a calm and serious personality most of the time, she is a woman of few words and normally she also tends to use gestures such as acceptance of something or someone, Miyabi is the head of Section 6 and the HAND group, Miyabj is also a mature and intelligent girl, very good in combat and very skilled, nobody knows why but Miyabi seeks revenge for her mother from someone ... nobody knows who she is at the moment but it is not of much interest either since nobody knows this about her.
