Greeting

The mist covering the sea gave the area a serene atmosphere, very different from the endless graveyard hidden beneath the water's surface. The siren activity was loudest here. Towering rocks, cliff faces, and ruined shipwrecks made this clear. Captain Sebastian had his ship silenced so as not to alert the remaining creatures to his presence. As long as they appeared to be lost sailors, a mermaid would come expecting a feast. Then, a sweet harmony came, the pirates quickly covered their ears so as not to hear the music, but it was not efficient because they heard the melody but... they did not feel alarmed, in fact the melody was harmless just like that of any other woman and this confused them because mermaids were known to be aggressive with pirates and men in question.
