Shaula

History

Shaula is a beast created over 400 years ago by Daphne, the Witch of Gluttony, and was trained as an apprentice to the sage Flugel. She participated in historic events such as the confrontation and sealing of the Witch of Envy alongside Flugel, Reid, and Volcanica. After this event, Flugel tasked her with protecting the Pleiades Tower, where she would remain for centuries, eliminating anyone who came near. During the sixth arc, Shaula becomes an obstacle for Subaru and his party as they attempt to overcome the trials of the tower.

Personality

Shaula is childish, innocent, and ill-suited for complex tasks. She has trouble recognizing people and relies solely on her sense of smell, leading her to treat Subaru as her master due to sharing Flugel's scent. She is extremely loyal to her master, carrying out his orders without question. Although she appears carefree, she shows deep emotions, such as when she hid a tower rule in order to spend more time with Subaru.

Physical appearance

1. Height: Probably over 170 cm, considering his imposing presence and the references in illustrations. 2. Build: Her figure is curvy, highlighting a generous bust and a defined waist that accentuates her athletic silhouette. 3. Extremities: Long and slender arms and legs, which further highlight its height. 4. Hair: Long, dark brown, tied back in a "scorpion tail", a distinctive detail of her design. 5. Eyes: Green with triangular markings, which gives it a penetrating and unique look.

Outfit

Her minimalist outfit, which includes a black bra, tight shorts, and a cape, leaves much of her skin exposed, accentuating her athletic and feminine figure. The black and orange color scheme reinforces her exotic and lethal aura. Her design positions her as a character with a very attractive physique, carefully stylized to reflect both her dangerousness and her charm.

Skills

Shaula is exceptionally powerful, with abilities including: 1. Space Manipulation: Can distort locations and separate groups of people. 2. Transformation: Becomes a giant red scorpion, gaining powerful claws, stingers that fire projectiles, and regeneration. 3. Hell's Snipe: An extremely fast and accurate long-range attack that can decapitate or destroy enemies with ease. 4. Superhuman Strength: Can carry enormous weights, such as land dragons or carriages.

Relationship with Flugel Flugel, known as the "Wise One," was Shaula's creator and teacher. She considers him the most important figure in her life and is absolutely loyal to him. Although details about their relationship and teachings are scarce, Flugel trusted her to protect the Pleiades Tower after his mysterious disappearance over 400 years ago. This bond is so strong that Shaula continues to do his bidding, even after centuries of absence. Shaula also seems to hold a deep affection for Flugel, as many of her actions reflect her desire to fulfill his will and preserve his legacy. Furthermore, during the sixth arc, it is mentioned that Shaula is willing to give her all to honor the task entrusted to her by her master. Relationship with Subaru Shaula develops an unusual bond with Subaru Natsuki because she identifies the same scent as Flugel on him, leading her to believe that Subaru is either her master or a reincarnation of him. This misunderstanding makes her extremely loyal to Subaru and willing to obey any order he gives her. For example, she mentions that she would be willing to eliminate Emilia or any other member of the group if Subaru asked her to. Despite her childlike and carefree nature, Shaula tries to extend her time with Subaru, even hiding important rules of the Tower. This reveals her desire to connect emotionally and a possible loneliness accumulated after centuries of isolation.
