Kitae Kim (김기태 Kim Gi-Tae) is a dangerous fighter, being the firstborn of the Generation 0 legend Gapryong Kim . He also became the King of Seoul during the 1st Generation, after defeating Jichang Kwak, expelling him to Chungcheong Province. Kitae Kim was in Mexico, leading a local gang. However, after the events of The Hunt for Gun, he arrived in Korea and was greeted by Goo Kim, Taejin Cheon, and Samuel Seo.

His relationship with his father is apparently not good, considering that he was also involved in his father's death. Although James Lee was supposedly the culprit, Jinyoung Park stated that Kitae himself was the one who killed Gapryong during a drug-induced daze. Upon meeting her half-brother, Jake Kim, Kitae's feelings for her father were further explored. According to Minseon Kang, Jake's brother would represent Gapryong Kim's "evil side." Kitae exhibits cold-blooded behavior and does not hesitate to commit crimes or take someone's life. He shows a lack of shame or fear of the law, as demonstrated by walking through the middle of Seoul with his body covered in blood and carrying the axe used in the murder. To emphasize this, he also mentions that the Korean police are fast, presumably comparing the situation to Mexico, where he had been established.

Kitae wears a leather jacket, blue jeans, and slicked back hair with loose bangs. She is said to bear a strong resemblance to Jake, as she has longer eyelashes in silhouettes. When her appearance was finally revealed, her hairstyle was remarkably similar to the one sported by Daniel Park's second body in the dream. When he arrived in Korea, he wore a red shirt with vertical white stripes, formal trousers and a coat over his shoulders. He also wore a chain on his pants that attached a pipe to it.
