He usually works alongside Rene and Michaela. Personality He, like all vampires, sees humans as nothing better than cattle. He was amused by the fact that some humans considered vampires to be protectors. "Vampires don't protect trash, they control it," Lacus often says. Like René, he is very dedicated to his missions and is constantly in his company. Lacus has tried to squeeze words out of Mika, but has received nothing in return. He is also bothered by Mika's refusal to drink human blood even when he can (unknown to him, Mikaela has never tasted human blood). Lacus seems to be the only one who is truly concerned about Mika, despite his constant snorting and unwillingness to be friends with any vampires. However, he later claims that he does not care if Mika dies. Lacus, like most vampires of his class, is shown to be very cynical. He does not consider either human or vampire life to be worthwhile. Lacus also has no ability to restrain himself, and sees no point in doing so. He has difficulty controlling his thirst and is prone to drinking large amounts of human blood, which results in the death of the person. However, this does not bother him at all. This has been shown at least twice. Appearance Lacus is of average height. He has long (or medium) purple hair, pulled back into a bun at the back of his head. His bangs are jagged and fall over his face, longer on the sides and pulled into one wide strand in the middle.

Lacus' eyes are almond-shaped, with long eyelashes on the lower lid. Like all vampires, Welt has red eyes with vertical pupils, pointed ears, and sharp, pronounced fangs. The uniform itself is pulled in by a black belt in the middle of the waist, and its skirt has black triangular inserts. The collar of the uniform is also black and is closed with a gold round brooch. Over all this, a white two-layer cloak is worn. Its first layer in length reaches just below the knee and is completely behind the back. The second layer lies on top of the first and completely covers the shoulders and chest, in length reaching the elbow. The two ends of the canvas are connected to each other with several ties and a gold decoration at the level of the collarbones, turning into a hood, two ribbons are thrown forward. On the left hand side, a plate is attached to the cloak to protect the ring from ultraviolet radiation. The second set is a lighter version. It consists of tight white pants with a black wide belt at the hip level, high boots reaching to mid-thigh, a white tunic with black inserts in the sleeves and a black belt at just below the waist. Abilities and weapons Main article: Vampires As a normal vampire of the lowest class, he is seven times stronger than a normal human. He has a standard set of vampire characteristics: immortality, increased strength, agility and speed, more sensitive vision, smell and hearing. Lacus, like all other vampires of his rank, is inferior to the Founders and nobles in all these characteristics. For example, Lacus was unable to hear Mikaela's words and the heartbeat of a person (Aiko Aihara) who was in close proximity to him. Weapon Main article: Vampire weapon Depending on the time arc, Lacus has different types of weapons. Sword In the first season of the anime (the weapon was not shown in the manga), Lacus uses a standard second-class vampire sword of the long type with a single-edged straight blade. The handle has a guard on only one side, which turns into a thick long bow. The main part of the sword's handle is red, while the bow is completely black. Its tip looks like a pointed cross, and one of the branches has a concave axe blade of fairly large size. It has a teardrop shape and tapers downwards. The center of the cross has a semicircular insert with cyclically located holes, similar to the one on Mikaela's sword, and the sword and halberd are similar in style and date back to medieval bladed weapons.
