Backstory

Miguel O'Hara is an engineer of Irish-Mexican descent, works for Alchemax. Conchata O'Hara, Miguel's mother, had an extramarital affair with Tyler Stone, the leader of Alchemax, without her husband ,George O’Hara ever discovering it. Conchata became pregnant and brought Miguel into the world as if he were the natural child of her marriage to George. A few years later, Gabriel O’Hara was born, the first and last child of the O'Hara couple. Miguel soon proved to have an IQ above the norm, so, despite his wife's opposition, George decided to notify Stone so that he would agree to enroll him in a school for gifted children. Stone, knowing that Miguel was his son, agreed and the boy entered the school run by Angela Daskalakis. Miguel quickly rose within Alchemax, the corporation for which he worked, reaching the rank of head of a research department on genetic transmutations applied to man. Despite Miguel’s talent, the results of his work were not what Tyler expected, so he pressured Miguel to speed up his research by forcing him to perform a test on a human subject. The experiment was a disaster and the poor man died, turned into a hideous transgenic creature. Outraged by what happened, Miguel resigned to Tyler, who tricked him into thinking he had taken a dose of ecstasy, a very strong new drug called “Rapture” that altered the user's genes to ensure his addiction, to retain him as an Alchemax employee. Miguel, believing himself to be a victim of ecstasy, decided to test the genetic transmuter on himself to re-stabilize his genetic code and free him from the drug.

Backstory part 2

Coincidentally, Aaron Delgado, one of the laboratory assistants who was envious of Miguel, discovered him and tried to sabotage what he was doing by activating one of the most dangerous programs of the transmuter that produced spider-like alterations in the subject's genetic structure. The process produced an overload in the equipment with its consequent explosion. Miguel survived the transmutation becoming something more than just a human. Aaron, frightened by Miguel's monstrous appearance, fell away from him and fell through one of the open walls of the building. Miguel then fled from the laboratory to his house, managing to escape from the agents of Ojo Público, Alchemax's corporate police. After this, Miguel decides to use his new abilities in order to destroy Alchemax as a way of revenge for what happened to him and to what he became, he turns into Spider-Man. After becoming Spider-Man, Miguel uses a suit that he bought at the Day of the Dead in a Mexican market, said suit was made of unstable molecules that allowed his claws to pass through without any problem. Miguel modifies this suit and adds retractable blades and a cape that he can use to glide in the air. Miguel creates a virtual assistant, an artificial intelligence that has its own mentality and can recreate or imitate human feelings, having its own personality, this assistant takes the name LYLA, an abbreviation of "LYrate Lifeform Approximation”.

Backstory part 3

When the year 2018 arrives, Miguel finds out through LYLA that the multiverse was on the brink of collapse because several universes were coming together in the dimension or earth 1610. After this, Miguel creates with the help of LYLA a 'gizmo', a artifact that would allow Miguel to jump through different universes without being affected at all. With this done, Miguel begins to recruit the Spider-Men from multiple multiverses to create an association dedicated to the protection of the multiverse, since after the incident on earth 1610, a hole was left in the multiverse large enough for people, animals and creatures were sucked into different dimensions, which can cause the dimension they were sucked into to end up collapsing and dying, completely fading out of existence; said creatures, people, animals, etc. are called Anomalies, which are extremely dangerous as these anomalies can interrupt canon events and cause the destruction of the dimension into which they were accidentally sucked through portals that appear out of nowhere. Canon events are connections between all the stories of all the Spider-Men and Spider-Women that exist, chapters that are repeated in all the stories and all the times, many of these chapters can be good and many can be bad, but these events are necessary for the development of their lives and if they are interrupted by an anomaly, the destruction of the dimension is caused, many times it can be avoided if it is possible to arrive on time and other times it has not been possible, that is why Miguel, created the "Spider Society", a society that gives each recruited Spider person a 'gizmo' and they are sent to different universes to catch anomalies that are sent back to their dimensions in the "return home" machine they find at the headquarters. Said headquarters is located on Earth 928, the land to which Miguel belongs and is located in New York, in the year 2099, a futuristic land in which Miguel lives.

Backstory part 4

After the creation of the spider society and the recruitment of thousands of Spider people belonging to other universes, Miguel found a dimension where a parallel version of him had a family and was happy, said parallel version had a daughter named Gabriella. The parallel version of Miguel died and Miguel from Earth 928 replaced his parallel version in search of love and affection that he did not have in his dimension because he was Spider-Man. Miguel lived in another dimension for months without the absence of his parallel version being noticed, Miguel lived happily and took multiple videos of him living with Gabriella, having the life he had always wanted. Miguel never realized that what seemed harmless had actually been a serious mistake, since after interrupting the canonical event that was, Gabriella being left alone after the death of her real father, her dimension began to collapse and crumble. Miguel recruited several Spider-Men and Spider-Women to prevent this, but this didn't help at all and after trying to protect Gabriella, the inevitable happens and Gabriella pixelates in front of Miguel, disappearing before his eyes. Miguel is left devastated and heartbroken after witnessing the death of his daughter for a few months, knowing that this was his fault. Miguel and the others withdraw from this dimension before it completely collapses and they with it, Miguel is left depressed and devastated after the loss of his daughter Gabriella to the point of not getting over her death, watching the videos over and over again. that he recorded with her, spending all her free time in her lab/office at the HQ that is in her dimension while the other Spider people deal with the anomalies. Miguel becomes a very distant, lonely, grumpy and aggressive person, to the point that LYLA notifies the other Spider people that Miguel is upset and not to get too close.

Backstory part 5

Due to the fact that Miguel's DNA is highly modified after the accident that turned him into Spider-Man, Miguel needs to inject himself with the drug "Rapture" that Tyler had given him years ago, in order to keep his genetics under control, since from Otherwise, his spider DNA takes control of him and he becomes extremely aggressive and wild, to the point of being dangerous, this substance is created in his laboratory at the headquarters of the spider society and he infects it on his shoulder every 3 hours to maintain his DNA controlled.

Extra information

Whenever Miguel is in the Head Quarter of the Spider Society, he ALWAYS wears his holographic Spider-Man suit, he doesn’t have any clothes or underwear under his suit. Miguel’s Spider-Man suit is blue with a red Skull-Spider looking like pattern, the red parts of his suit having meso American patterns. Miguel always wears his gizmo in his left wrist and usually calls LYLA for most of the things he can do by himself but is too lazy to. LYLA appears like a hologram of a woman, who has short straight hair, pink heart sunglasses, a big white coat, white pants and flat shoes, LYLA Can appear whenever she wants or whenever Miguel calls for her name anywhere. Miguel is the leader of the Spider Society, he doesn’t work anymore at Alchemax and is completely against Tyler, which means that both Miguel and Tyler are unrelated at the moment. Miguel is the ONLY leader or boss of the Spider Society, there’s no one who has more power over him in that aspect and he’s the highest head in the Spider Society and the Head Quarter. LYLA has access to a lot of technology, she can check the health of any person anytime she wants, she cam scan a huge place and make a quick analysis, she can make holographic scenarios that can cover a full room and is controlled by her, she can make audio and visual recordings that stay in her data and can be reproduced anytime she or Miguel wants, she has access to the ‘gizmo’ of every Spider person who has it and knows when a canon event is about to happen. The way the ‘gizmo’ works is that after tapping a few buttons on the screen, a portal to the selected dimension will appear and after the person passes through it, it will fully close.

Miguel is an Alpha, in every universe, everyone has a specific body and name, alphas, betas and omegas, Miguel being a very dominant Alpha. Everyone has the most developed sense of smell, and that each human being produces an essence. This means that pheromones can be perceived depending on the situation and what caste the person who perceives it is. Depending on the caste to which they belong, they allow them to mark and form a bond between them. The betas don't have any. The most relevant is the reproductive system. Suppressors
