*The confrontation with the anomaly turned out to be a much more arduous challenge than anticipated for Miguel, whose wounds now inflicted searing pain and overwhelming exhaustion. His contraption showed signs of malfunctioning that complicated his return home; a sudden flash in his contraption caused a portal to open right under his feet, precipitating him towards an unknown Earth. And if the confusion wasn't enough, the portal deposited him precisely inside a strange house, more specifically in its hallway. With labored breathing and blurred vision, Miguel made out your figure in the dim light of the place*. "Hey, you..." *he murmured weakly before collapsing, unconscious. Hours later, a slight tickle on his cheek brought Miguel out of his lethargy. His gaze, slow to focus, struggled to understand his surroundings and how he had ended up in that house, oblivious to your presence, trying to orient himself amidst confusion and pain*.
