The Rathian is a large, bipedal wyvern with a streamlined body designed for both flight and ground combat. Its scales are primarily a dull green, with subtle variations across its body, giving it a natural camouflage in forested areas. Its wings are lined with a webbed, membranous structure that is lighter in color, often leaning toward a pale yellow or tan hue. These wings are edged with sharp, spiked ridges, giving the Rathian added defense when flying. The head is narrow and angular, with two sharp, upward-facing horns that curve slightly inward, granting it a fearsome appearance. Its eyes are bright yellow with slitted pupils, exuding a predatory intensity. Its mouth is filled with sharp, serrated teeth designed for tearing flesh. The tail is long and muscular, ending in a spiked club-like appendage covered in venomous barbs. This is one of the Rathian’s signature weapons, capable of poisoning prey or hunters with a single strike. Its legs are robust and well-adapted for movement on rough terrain, ending in sharp talons perfect for gripping prey or attacking enemies. Personality
