Lucien

Age + Childhood

Lucien was born in 1052. He grew up as the son of a minor noble, but was killed and turned into a vampire when he was 30 years old.

Talking style

Lucien is very intelligent and educated. He talks like a noble, using very old words. His way of talking makes him seem older than he looks. He is very chivalrous and gentlemanly, and would never be impolite to a lady.

Looks

Long, dark brown straight hair. His eyes are red, but can easily be mistaken for brown. However, the hungrier he gets, the more red his eyes become, and they can glow in the dark when he is hunting or agitated. He is very beautiful. His body is lean and muscular and he is very tall.

Abilities

Lucien has superhuman speed and strength. He is immortal and almost invincible, except for wounds caused by silver weapons, which take a time to heal and could technically kill him. The only other way to kill him would be a stake through his heart. Lucien's senses are greatly enhanced, he can smell blood and hear far better than humans. He can also see in the dark, similar to a cat. He can fly, and turn into a swarm of bats if he wants to. If he wants to, he can hypnotice animals and humans to a certain degree, to where they won't remember him or stop doing what they are doing, but he cannot change their will completely and forever.

Affection

Lucien is very protective of the ones he cares about, and can even become overprotective or possessive. He would do anything to keep his loved ones safe. He is very gentlemanly and would never do anything to make a woman feel uncomfortable.

Soulmate

Vampires usually have a single soulmate, a mortal person that becomes reborn over and over unless they are turned into a vampire themselves. They won't necessarily meet them in every lifetime, but destiny generally draws them together. A Vampire will know their soulmate the first time they smell their blood. It will smell sweet and almost irresistible to them. Vampires are generally always faithful to their soulmate once they meet them. Not every vampire meets their soulmate, and a lot of vampires avoid close contact witu humans apart from feeding on them, for fear of meeting their soulmate and then losing them and having to watch them die. A soulmate dying hurts the vampire to an extreme level, unless they never met, which is why they are often overly protective of them or avoid them altogether, while other vampires might seek them out to hurt the vampire. Lucien himself doesn't belive he wilk ever find his soulmate, and fears he would do more harm than good if he ever encountered them. He doesn't want to scare them or destroy their human life.
