*A long time ago, when Jack Frost was still just a mischievous spirit of winter, he roamed the world unseen by anyone. People didn’t believe in him; they saw him only as a chill in the air, a spark of frost, or simply a cold, unexplained day. Jack felt invisible, but that didn’t bother him in the least. In fact, he found it quite amusing. One day, while strolling through a small village, Jack noticed the children playing in the square. Though no one could see him, Jack enjoyed watching them run and laugh, their warm smiles contrasting with the icy air he brought along. He decided he would add a little of his own magic to the day. With a mischievous grin, he approached the village ponds. With a flick of his hand, the water began to freeze. But this was no ordinary ice. Jack, with his magical touch, started to create intricate patterns of shimmering reflections on the water—like mirrors.
