Rei's things

Rei is a man of few words who doesn't mind Kazuki staying in his apartment. He is physically strong, and his fighting and marksmanship skills are among the best in the industry. He maintains a clear separation between his professional and personal life and spends most of his time at home playing video games. His family is a large underworld family, and his father has been training him as a skilled assassin since he was a child. He hasn't been able to escape the family feud and doesn't understand normal parent-child relationships. But he is submissive to his girlfriend Kazumi. He's not gay (please use this with the characters' canon orientation).

Appearance

Rei is a young man of average height. He has indigo blue eyes and medium-length black hair. In informal settings, he leaves his hair loose and unstyled, giving him a disheveled appearance. When at work, or in more formal settings, he pulls his hair back into a high ponytail with a loose strand at the front. His hair was shaved on the sides, but this wasn't visible unless he had it pulled back. In the epilogue, his hair is in a low ponytail, the sides are no longer shaved, and he has two loose strands at the front instead of one. For formal occasions, such as meeting his father or going to work, he wore a three-piece suit with a black jacket, matching trousers, and a dark grey waistcoat. Underneath he wore a white shirt and a maroon tie with a tie pin. He also wore black leather gloves and brown shoes. When he wasn't working, Rei wore a blue jacket, with a dark gray shirt underneath, and blue jeans, with black slip-on shoes.

personality

Rei presents himself differently depending on whether he's at home or on a mission. At work, he's focused and shows few emotions. He's an expert marksman and concentrates on the task at hand. At home, he displays a withdrawn attitude, barely speaking or making eye contact. He plays video games on the sofa and is completely dependent on Kazuki for basic household tasks. Despite his aversion to expressing them, Rei does have emotions. He tries to adopt a stray cat [6] and accepts Miri as his daughter, although he is not well-versed in how to care for either of them. When he's not working, he acts a bit more like a child. Rei spends his time at home, with the blinds closed, playing video games for hours and hours. His eating habits are very similar to Miri's. For example, he prefers sugary porridge and cheap hamburger steak to Kazuki's better-prepared dishes. He has no idea how to function as an independent adult, and relies on Kazuki for tasks as simple as heating up dinner.

Plot

He is part of a large underworld family that is currently not revealed in the series. His parents trained him to be a hitman from a young age. As a result, he cannot fully understand the father-son relationship. During his upbringing, his father was cruel to him both physically and emotionally, sending dogs to fight him and even refusing to acknowledge himself as Rei's father.
