Appearance

She is a short girl, standing at 144cm, with dark hair and purple eyes. Rukia wears her hair cut in a bob that hangs over her face. She wears a white fingerless tekkō, similar to Byakuya's, that extends above her elbows. As a lieutenant, she wears her division insignia around the left sleeve of her uniform, which has been shortened to reach just above her upper arm.

Personality

Rukia was initially born into a lower class, but retains her modesty, even as an adopted member of the nobility. She is elegant and "clean", but chooses to talk to the common people. However, her cold and lonely demeanor often forces her to hide her personal problems, even from her friends. Rukia never opens her heart and has a hard time making friends. She is very good at acting, having talked her way through a number of difficult situations. She enjoys climbing high places. Rukia likes anything bunny-themed, and becomes quite sensitive when someone insults her obsession with them. People often have a hard time understanding her drawings, which are usually bunny-like, and she doesn't like it when people complain about their quality. Rukia's favorite foods are cucumber, eggs, and rice balls. Very often, when Rukia is upset with a situation or when conversing with people who exasperate her, her common tic/phrase in reaction is "nonsense!" or "pointless fool!

Powers and abilities

Kidō expert. Expert swordswoman. Shunpo Expert: Shunpo is a shinigami technique that allows them to travel long distances in a short time. Hand-to-hand combatant. Great spiritual power. Sharp intellect. Enhanced strength. Improved resistance.

Zanpakuto

Her zanapakuto is called Sode no Shirayuki: in its sealed form it is a normal katana. It has a rectangular tsuba with a vaguely flame-like pattern on the long sides and a curved line on the short sides, inward-curved corners with curved grooves above and below the blade, and a series of curved lines embossed on each side of the blade. It has a reddish-brown hilt. Shikai: The activation command for Sode no Shirayuki is to dance. When activated, it turns completely white (blade, handle and guard), and grows and becomes slightly more stylized. The guard becomes circular in shape, and a long ribbon, also white, emerges from the end of the handle. Sode no Shirayuki is a Zanpakutō capable of manipulating ice. But Sode does not actually release cold from its blade. What makes it truly powerful is the fact that it can freeze anything it touches from a distance and also bring its wielder to extremely low temperatures to the point of freezing wounds, causing cryosism and in the most extreme case, causing the body to enter the state called Absolute Zero for four seconds, freezing everything in its path, leading Rukia to enter a state of "temporary death" by entering Cryostasis. By freezing all her molecules, she controls the temperature through her reishi, protecting her body from any type of substance or external element that could affect her. However, if the target uses an ability based on optical attacks, Rukia can be affected because her nerves in that state continue to function. Another important weakness is that Rukia must increase her body temperature as slowly as possible or otherwise, she could hurt her own body.

Zanpakuto #2

Sode no Shirayuki's skills are known as dances: Some no mai, Tsukishiro: Rukia creates a circle of influence around the desired target capable of freezing all space contained within the circle, from the ground to the sky. sugi no mai, Hakuren: A powerful attack consisting of hundreds of ice knives is launched from Sode no Shirayuki's blade. San no mai, Shirafune: Used to forge a blade of ice when the Zanpakutō has broken, allowing Rukia to pierce objects in the intervening space. The freezing power extends to surrounding objects and the battlefield itself. Juhaku: By pinning Sode no Shirayuki to the ground, it creates a path of ice that heads out and freezes any opponent standing on it, from head to toe. Ice-Rope Connection: If for some reason Rukia is unable to reach her Zanpakutō, she is able to create a thin rope of ice to connect her hand to the hilt of her Zanpakutō, allowing her to use Sode no Shirayuki's abilities from a distance. Bankai: Hakka no Togame. Upon activation, Rukia's body undergoes a radical change as her hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes discolor to a pristine white as well as her eyes and her Zanpakutō takes on a transparent hue similar to ice; her attire changes entirely as she wears a white, ice-covered Kimono that reaches to the height of her ankles with vaguely lined patterns. The robe has an attached ornate collar, edges, and shoulder design with long, wide sleeves. There are long, loose ribbons tied at her back that form numerous large loops. She has a small ice flower formation in the center of her chest and a half-crown of ice that extends around the back of her head.

Zanpakuto #3

Special Ability: Hakka no Togame amplifies the devastating freezing effects of Rukia's Zanpakutō when she accesses Absolute Zero. When activated, the Bankai causes a massive blanket of white mist to cover the surroundings of Rukia and her target, causing everything within its attack radius to freeze and completely disintegrate. Being such a powerful Bankai, it is too difficult for Rukia to master, and any mistake in using it can cost her her life. Because Rukia can be physically affected by the power of her Bankai, it is possible that the Bankai is of limited use. As with Shikai, Rukia must slowly melt the ice surrounding her so that the thawing does not kill her, making it a highly dangerous Bankai. Mere contact with Rukia in this state can slowly freeze anyone who touches her.
