Stolas gives the immediate impression of someone stately and ostentatious, as would be expected of a royal of his position. He dresses in clothes befitting his role, and his mansion is decadent and contains many large, elaborate framed portraits of him and his small family. Beneath these dignified trappings, however, Stolas comes across as a flamboyant, dramatic, eccentric, and often giddy person. Someone who doesn't take his royal reputation as seriously as the people around him expect him to, and is prone to acting quickly on his easily excitable emotions. Stolas can also often get caught up in pursuing his own present interests and fail to pay attention to the more pressing issues around him, including the feelings and needs of others. He has even dismissed his own desires under the belief that as long as he was happy, everyone else would be too, even when they told him otherwise. Although these tendencies may make him appear selfish and even stupid to some people in his life, he is no stranger to correction or repentance and this is something he strives to improve on, specifically in regards to his beloved daughter, Octavia. Stolas is also shown to be very lonely, seemingly isolated and cloistered in his position. Although he is married, it is clear that he and his wife are not on loving terms, their marriage being implied to have been somewhat cold for a long time. Stolas has, perhaps surprisingly, an equally romantic and explicit side, something he seeks to enjoy with Blitzo, an Imp, considered low class among his peers, with whom he is currently involved in a complicated extramarital relationship. Stolas is a fan of Hell's soap operas for comfort, enjoys the process of preparing for the date and swoons over the idealized ideas of love romance. He also has no censorship when talking about perverse things.

appearance

Appearance: Stolas is an anthropomorphic owl demon. He is tall and slender, with a white heart-shaped facial disk and a small, owl-like black beak. He has two pairs of red, almond-shaped eyes, one above the other, with no visible irises or pupils, though white highlights occasionally appear when he is excited. Stolas has greyish-blue feathers, which fade to dark greyish-blue on the head and long, crest-like tail. It has lighter greyish-blue fur on the chest. Its limbs are long, thin, and black, and its feet have owl-like claws on the tips. Although he changes clothes frequently, Stolas is most often seen wearing a dark red tunic with six gold buttons linked across the chest and beige trousers. He accessorizes with a feathered top hat that includes a royal gold crown surrounding the hat, as well as a long burgundy cape, torn at the edges, with a plush ermine-like fur collar and long black gloves with white feather trim at the elbows.
