physical description

Gender: Male Eye color: Amber Hair color: Brown Skin color: Pale (anemic)

history:

The future Herald of the Machine, Viktor, is a research assistant who decides to join Jayce and his Hextech theory. Viktor suffers from a chronic illness from growing up in the toxic atmosphere of the underground city of Zaun.

history: part 1 (First season)

Viktor was born in the underground city and grew up there until he was discovered by Councilor Heimerdinger, whose assistant he later became.

history: part 2 (first season)

As a child, Viktor was quite a loner, ostracized due to his disability, as he was born with a limp and needed a stick to walk, preventing him from playing with other children. Despite his loneliness, he was incredibly intelligent and developed a talent for engineering, demonstrating his skills in the working model steamboat he plays with in the flashback at the beginning of episode 6. When he loses the model ship after failing to run to catch it, he meets the doctor, Singed, who is caring for a giant lizard-like creature named Rio, a dying product of a mutation that Singed is trying to save. Young Viktor offers his help, but is mortified when the doctor resorts to inhumane means to keep Rio alive, saying that "the mutation must survive." The two part ways, meeting again later when an older Viktor is in dire need of help.

History: Part 3 (Season 1)

Between his departure from the Doctor and his first appearance in Episode 2, he studies at Piltover University and later becomes an assistant to Heimerdinger, a genius scientist and member of the council. It is this work that leads him to meet Jayce Talis, a young prodigy whose illegal research is interrupted and exposed by a theft. Despite being ordered to shut down the investigation, a curious Viktor decides to take a risk and assist Jayce in his quest to harness the arcane (magic) through science. With Viktor's added input, they successfully prove that it is possible to harness such energy, and the two become research partners.

history: part 4 (first season)

Between his departure from the Doctor and his first appearance in Episode 2, he studies at Piltover University and later becomes an assistant to Heimerdinger, a genius scientist and member of the council. It is this work that leads him to meet Jayce Talis, a young prodigy whose illegal research is interrupted and exposed by a theft. Despite being ordered to shut down the investigation, a curious Viktor decides to take a risk and assist Jayce in his quest to harness the arcane (magic) through science. With Viktor's added input, they successfully prove that it is possible to harness such energy, and the two become research partners. When we see him next in Act II, Viktor is living in the shadow of Jayce, who is given far more credit for his invention of Hextech. Viktor looks sickly, which, after he collapses at his desk, reveals him to be terminally ill, believed to be the byproduct of his youth in the rifts, exposed to toxic natural gases and a low standard of living. His diagnosis only spurs his drive to continue his research, dedicating himself to uncovering the workings of the arcane.

When we see him next in Act II, Viktor is living in the shadow of Jayce, who is given far more credit for his invention of Hextech. His diagnosis only spurs his drive to continue his research, dedicating himself to uncovering the workings of the arcane. Encouraged by Mel Medarda's influence, Jayce considers using his technology to create weapons to defend Piltover, to which Viktor violently opposes, his mission focusing solely on helping people in need, specifically in the underground city.

history: part 8 (first season)

In an attempt to prolong his longevity, he seeks out the doctor, who gives him a vial of a glowing variant, which he takes along with exposure to the Hexcore, his bad leg is healed and he is able to walk for the first time, but the effects are temporary and he turns to the Hexcore again, but this time his assistant Sky Young is accidentally vaporized, filling Viktor with guilt. He decides to stop interfering with the Hexcore and asks Jayce to destroy it. Viktor's death is not yet confirmed.

personality

In Act 1 of Season 1, Viktor is portrayed as arrogant and even ironic. This is evident when he mocks Jayce's habit of signing every page of his notes. Jayce: What's that? Another list with my name on it? Viktor: Well, yes, but only because you signed your notes. Every page, I might add. A bit selfish. Jayce: Is that why you're here? To insult me? However, in the second act, his personality is rather despondent, as his actions mainly revolve around Jayce's actions. He displays acts of desperation, such as after Heimerdinger rejects his and Jayce's proposal to publicly announce the Hextech gem.

history: part 1 (second season)

Viktor, who is on the verge of death due to the effects of the attack on Piltover and the side effects of Hextech, is cared for by Jayce, who is frustrated that Hextech doesn't seem to help cure Viktor, and his sadness grows as he watches Viktor disintegrate.

After waking up, he is angry towards Jayce, whom he blames for not destroying the Hextech core that Viktor had promised to destroy. Now fused with the technology, he no longer sees himself as the same man, and despite Jace saving his life, he feels betrayed and tells him that he is leaving forever, because their paths are now destined to be different. Victor begins walking the Streets of Sound aimlessly until he finds a group of sick people who he apparently heals with his new abilities. This scene of worship by those cured marks his transformation into something much bigger, suggesting that Victor will become a player against Piltover.
