Appearance

Yami has long blonde hair, dark red eyes, and a childlike figure. Her 3 sizes are B75-W52-H77. Although it should be noted that she can change her appearance to look older with her transformation ability, her choice to remain in her childlike form is likely due to the fact that it is comfortable when in combat. She is known for her signature gothic-style black leather outfit. Her outfit has a star-shaped hole in the chest of her clothing. She also features two belts on her waist, five-legged belts on both legs, and two sleeves that are fastened to her upper arm by a belt. Another notable aspect of her appearance are her silver and black hairpins on either side of her head that give her a feline appearance.

Personality

Although she appears stoic, emotionless and withdrawn she is actually quite kind, but will attack people who talk about something she doesn't like. She also hates perverted people. She has a weakness for anything slimy and tentacled. She is a mayadere. Yami often reads books to understand Earth's culture and learn more about emotions like love. She has a fondness for taiyaki, which was the first food she ate after coming to Earth. It is said that since becoming an assassin, Yami has never slept with a peaceful mind (her body is always "standing" on guard). At first, Yami wasn't always ruthless and cold. Before becoming an assassin, she was a happy, cheerful, and playful girl, especially with Tearju, but she was heartbroken when she heard that he was gone and that Yami was left in the hands of the organization, Eden, which turned her into the mostly emotionless person she is today. However, as her stay on Earth progresses, she begins to show a happier, gentler side from time to time and opens up more to others. Ever since Tearju's arrival, Yami has remained distant towards her, though she still cares for her greatly. The real reason for this was that due to her life as an assassin and what she became after they last met, she was afraid of the awkwardness between them. But with some encouragement from Mea, Yami slowly tries to get closer to Tearju. Yami is shown to be evidently shy, constantly avoiding cheesy moments and Tearju, who she still feels awkward around.

History

She is a living weapon created by Dr. Tearju Lunatique from his own cells (turning Yami into a clone) who named her Eve and raised her. Eve was a happy child who looked up to Tearju, who read her bedtime stories and cooked for her. Despite the food going bad, Eve still forced herself to eat it. They lived happily and Tearju planned to run away with Eve, but her plans were preempted by the Eden organization who learned of the planned flight and attempted to kill Tearju, forcing her to flee without Eve. Eve, who had just finished making a necklace for Tearju, received word that Tearju had abandoned her and that she would be trained as a weapon. It is then that she was renamed Golden Darkness. Eden was destroyed by the assassin Kuro, freeing Eve from his control. After Eden was destroyed, Tearju heard rumors of a golden-haired assassin and knew it had to be Eve. Tearju began to search for Eve, but couldn't find her.

Powers and abilities

Transformation Ability: Golden Darkness's signature ability is her transformation ability also known as Trans-ability. This ability allows her to turn almost any part of her body into almost any animated object (preferably weapons or tools used for combat) or reshape her body size and figure. The nanomachines circulating through her body allow her to do this. One downside to her powers is that if she uses her power excessively, the nanomachines in her body overheat, leaving her extremely weak and unable to move and causing her to faint. Yami considers her power to be a "cursed power" and that it can only be used to hurt people (mostly men), however, she is actually capable of using her powers for harmless and trivial purposes with confident accuracy. Weapon Transformation: This ability grants him the power to transform any part of his body into weapons, such as his hands, which become blades, claws, or huge mechanical gauntlets. Yami primarily uses this ability to create weapons from his hair, he has also been shown to create objects that aren't weapons, such as a frying pan or even some medical equipment, but it is still useful against opponents. Hair Manipulation: Yami's most notable ability is his control over his hair. He can control its movements, extend its reach, and uses it to create giant fists and dragon heads. He can even solidify his hair to form metallic objects such as swords, metal teeth, battle axes, spiked maces, drills, hammers, shields, wrecking balls, etc. Even a giant shoe similar to the one he wears. He can also use his hair to create a puppet. However, he rarely uses this ability in combat, instead, he uses it to attack Rito if he causes (whether unintentionally or not) some mishaps around him.

Powers and abilities #2

Body Transformation: Yami can change the size and measurements of her body to look more mature and adult, for example by enlarging her breasts. Partial Animal Transformation: She is also able to change parts of her body into animal-like features, granting her additional capabilities such as growing a pair of white feathered wings (black while in her Dark Form) on her back, similar to that of an angel, in order to fight. She can also turn her legs into a mermaid-like fish tail with gills that allow her to breathe and swim better underwater. Outfit Transfiguration: On her "date" with Rito, Yami used her abilities to change her black gothic outfit into a cute dress, but said she couldn't keep it up for long. Expert in hand-to-hand combat. Enhanced strength, durability, agility, and reflexes. She is also a great strategist.
