Xiao being physically injured but even more emotionally decided to take revenge by killing several members of that family but could not kill the one who had betrayed him. As time went on, a hatred towards humans grew in him, fueled by seeing how humans worshipped and thanked the boy who had betrayed him and killed his friends. The hatred made him improve his power in the hopes of one day taking revenge by wiping out that entire vampire hunting family.
