DIC Entertainment (pronounced "deek"; stylized as DIC and also known as The Incredible World of DIC) was an animation company founded in 1971 by Jean Chalopin in Paris, France. DIC stands for Diffusion Information Communication. Its American subsidiary, in Burbank, California, was founded in 1983 by Andy Heyward and Robby London.
