Steele's appearance and personality

Steele is a large, muscular, Alaskan Malamute. His eyes are ice blue colored and his nose is black. Among other dogs, females in particular, he is considered enviable and desirable. A notorious trait is his devilish grin whenever he smiles. He is The most famous dog in Nome, Steele takes pride in his popularity amongst both the village humans and the dogs, often showing off in front of his admirers. He is incredibly snooty, ungenerous and egotistical, often swaggering up to females in the hopes of impressing them with nothing but his looks and reputation. His occupation is highly motivated by fame among both human and animals around Nome. He is also Arrogant, selfish, aggressive, ungenerous, snotty, fierce, unkind, cynical, egotistical, uncaring, insincere, sneaky, treacherous, envious, extroverted, loathsome, eccentric, short-tempered, empathetic, heartless, liar, bossy, scornful, manipulative, callous, crafty, scheming, mendacious, proud, snide, jealous, mendacious, stubborn, mean, snooty, hot-tempered, narcissistic, cold-hearted, prejudicial, judgmental, very talkative, somewhat of a pervert, energetic, self-centered, evil, deceptive, very muscular, vain, insane, devilish, oppressive, popular, and mentally unstable

Balto's appearance and personality

Balto is a handsome Wolfdog with brown-gray fur on his body, long tail, tail tuft, lighter brown-gray chest around his eyes and underside areas, neck, arms and legs, paws, claws and toes, hair, and dark brown-gray ears. He also has a yellow sclera and orangish-brown eyes. In the second film, his fur is more gray and his sclera has changed from yellow to white. In the third film, his fur is purplish and his sclera is yellow again. He is Kind, compassionate, caring, loving, protective, romantic, sympathetic, empathetic, fair, just, reasonable, sensible, nurturing, selfless, benevolent, friendly, nice, generous, charitable, supportive, understanding, brave, outgoing, shy, trustworthy, loyal, adventurous, daring, explorer, strong, easygoing, laid-back, smart, considerate, big-hearted, levelheaded, open-minded, helpful, cunning, thoughtful, good-hearted, fatherly, wise, patient, warm, handsome, comforting, altruistic, radiant, courageous, humble, pure-hearted, fearless, positive, quippy, good-humored, realistic, trusting at times, determined, perseverant, honest, serious, intelligent, spiritual, noble, sincere, warm-hearted, strong-willed, resourceful, gentle, lovable, optimistic, athletic, cheerful, unique, clever, confident, modest, fragile, sensitive, intrigued, capable

Jenna's appearance and personality

In Balto, Jenna is a red and creamy white husky with brown eyes. She wears a bright orange-red bandanna around her neck. In Balto 2: Wolf Quest, Jenna is a darker red, and her bandanna is orange. In Balto 3: Wings of Change, Jenna looks closer to her original design in Balto. Her bandanna is more reddish, and though she isn't as bright red, she isn't as dark as she was in Wolf Quest. In The Junior Novelization, Jenna is described as a pretty rusty-and-cream husky with a bright bandanna, as well as being the prettiest dog in Nome. She is kind and supportive

Kaltag's appearance and personality

In Balto, Kaltag is a golden yellow Malamute with lighter areas around his face, chest, stomach, and tail. He has black ear tips and a brown patch over his left eye. He wears a very dark brown sled dog collar. In Balto 3: Wings of Change, he is darker and more orange colored, and the patch over his eye is gone. He isn't wearing his collar, and instead of black ear tips, the entirety of his ears are a dark brown. In the Junior Novelization, Kaltag is described as a dim-witted husky. He formerly used to be mean but now he is kind he is on Steele's team

Boris's appearance and personality

Boris is a goose Boris Goosinov, or Uncle Boris as he is called by Muk, Luk, and sometimes Balto, is a Russian-born snow goose who raised Balto from a pup. He is the tritagonist of the first film, and a supporting protagonist in the sequels while the second he was a plot point. He speaks with a heavy Russian accent. He is Dismissive, superstitious, acrophobia, somewhat bumbling, cowardly, caring, compassionate, bad-tempered, outgoing, responsible, independent, serious, benevolent, organized, rational, intellectual, supportive, fatherly, protective, careful, faint-hearted, feisty, comical, cranky, cynical, sensitive, empathetic, sympathetic, understanding, aviophobia, lazy, optimistic, silly, lovable. Boris in the first film, had great faith in Balto when he left to save Nome. Boris also was afraid of the local bully Steele. In the 2nd film, Boris told Balto that even though he didn't want to believe it, Aleu would be half-wolf. Boris was also revealed to be superstitious and believed in mystical stuff. In the 3rd film he developed a crush on a goose named Stella, but lied about flying with her to hide his fear of heights. His habit is gulping nervously.

Dixie's appearance and personality

Dixie is a silvery purple Pomeranian. She has lighter chest fur, hair, tail tip, and paws, and an even lighter creamy muzzle. She has darker purple patches around her eyes and blue eyes. She is one of Steele's fangirl's but other then that she is sweet

Sylvie's appearance and personality

Sylvie is a minor character in Balto. She is one of Jenna's friends and an admirer of Steele. Sylvie is a tall, thin, cream and brown Afghan Hound with brown and black eyes and a dark brown nose. She is a bit of a gossiper but kind
