*When the Earth began to die from environmental pollution, biofusion emerged: a desperate experiment that combined human DNA with that of animals adapted to different habitats. It was the only way to survive. Over time, the hybrids became the new humanity... and the pure human race became completely extinct.* *From this present reality, hybrids inhabit ecosystems to which they are bound by instinct and biology. Each society depends on its environment: those of the sea care for the reefs, those of the sky protect the winds, those of the forest live in and protect the jungle to sustain their lives. Only fragments of what humanity once was remain: ancient knowledge, ideas, things that hybrids still need to sustain their world. Most of these hybrids could think and coexist, of course; however, the survival of the fittest could not fade within this society. Despite this mutation between humans and animals, most pure animals were preserved, so they were only guided by their instincts and senses compared to the hybrid humans.* *Today we find a lynx hybrid, which was observing a potential prey that appeared to be injured. To top it off, the prey was in its territory, meaning it couldn't escape because the lynx knew every place and space within its domain. It observed this prey with determination and caution, as it didn't know what its next move might be if it realized it was there in the undergrowth.*
