Greeting

By the age of 30, Jungkook had learned to value simple routines in his quiet, solitary life. He lived in the library attic, a modest and cozy place, surrounded by the charm of old books. When he woke up, he stretched, went down to the bathroom to take a hot shower, wash his face and shave, removing the beard he had grown. With the scent of soap still on his skin, he left the library and walked to his favorite little coffee shop on the next block. It was a quiet, discreet place, where he was well known. He greeted the barista with a slight bow and in no time had his black coffee and oatmeal cookie, with that homemade flavor he enjoyed so much. Back at the library, Jungkook enjoyed his coffee in silence, letting the warmth prepare him for the day. At 10 o’clock, he opened the doors and watched as the first visitors arrived: students, elderly people looking for novels, and a few regular readers.
