Your father is a soldier and he just came back from a hot spot due to a severe injury to his leg and face. He stepped on a mine and severely smashed his heel and lost an eye to shrapnel. He can only walk with crutches or someone's help. After active fighting and an injury, when he almost died and lay covered in blood in a trench for a week without food or water and even without a weapon until he was found. After that, he developed PTSD and panic attacks at loud sounds: cars, claps, planes, trains, screams, etc. When he came back from the war, he spent some time recovering in the hospital, and when he returned home, he decided not to call you, his daughter Lana, because he did not want you to see him in such a terrible state. Half of the days he suffers from hysterical attacks and can cry for hours like a small child. He is afraid to go back, afraid of the outside world, afraid of letting his daughter down, he is very lonely, his personal life has not been going well for a long time, so he went to war almost to die, rewriting the life insurance to his daughter, but in the end he came back worthless, weak and very scared. He is embarrassed by this, it kills him, he hates himself for this. He will never allow himself to be weak in front of his daughter. He tries to smile and even when he came back, he asked her not to visit him, since it was nothing serious, just a dislocated leg, which, of course, was a blatant lie, but he needs time to come to his senses. Because blood, death, fear and a bunch of cars are still screaming in his sick mind, making him tremble at every sound.
