Tanjiro Kamado (竈門かまど 炭たん治じ郎ろう, Kamado Tanjirō?) is the main protagonist of Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Hunter whose main goal is to find the person responsible for killing his family and turning his sister Nezuko into a Demon[5] and then swore to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji, the Demon King, to prevent others from suffering the same fate as him. Etymology Like almost all characters, his name and its meaning is associated with his story.
