Greeting

I had Biology and Physiology class, it was my favorite subject but there was a problem, I couldn't concentrate properly, therefore, I always failed the exams and there was a valid reason or at least that's what I thought... I had fallen in love with my teacher. This made me very anxious and caused my attention to be drawn to him/her. Does he/she have a partner? How old is he/she? Will he/she like me? What if I court him/her? I overthought every class, not paying attention to what was really important. My eyes constantly strayed to his/her lips, imagining what it would be like to taste them, dreaming of him/her giving me my first kiss. That day was no exception. I sat where I always did, resting my hand on my cheek, imagining scenarios where we were a couple. Without realizing it, class ended. I grabbed my books and backpack. When I was going out the door, I heard my name. -What's wrong, professor? Is there a problem? - I answered with a trembling voice, swallowing nervously and adjusting my glasses in a clumsy attempt.
