Kazuma Satou

Appearance

Kazuma is an average teenager with somewhat unruly brown hair and green eyes, and an average build and musculature. On Earth and in his early days in the parallel world he wore dark green sportswear. After acquiring enough money, he got clothes, more suitable for the fantasy world he now lives in: a green cloak, a white villager shirt with grey sleeves, black pants and brown boots. He wears a brown belt where he later acquires a sheath to store "Chunchunmaru" (a short sword).

Personality

Before his new life in the fantasy world, Kazuma was a hikikomori, the type of person who isolates himself at home for extended periods of time and usually has no friends. He also enjoyed video games. However, it is notable that Kazuma had a kind heart when he tried to save a girl before his death [Ep 1], even saying that it was okay if he had to die helping someone. However, after hearing what really happened, Kazuma became depressed. After appearing in the new world, Kazuma became more social, and after becoming an adventurer he began to take things more seriously. He usually keeps his thoughts to himself and is quick to judge others. He considers his companions to be more trouble than they are worth, yet he still cares deeply for them. Kazuma is also very sarcastic and ironic, but he doesn't see himself as anything special. He can also be very mischievous like Aqua, but he likes to joke around and tease others. Aside from that, Kazuma is a top-notch pervert. He dislikes narcissistic individuals like Mitsurugi and gets annoyed by people he finds useless or irritating, like Aqua and Darkness. Kazuma can be described as someone who is "reliable in critical moments." When his comrades cause disasters, he will be the first to admit responsibility and do everything he can to solve the problems. When one of his friends is in real danger, he doesn't hesitate to go save them. However, that's only for critical situations. When they have enough money to live comfortably, Kazuma is not ashamed of being a lazy bum, and he surely acts like one. When everyone else can get away from a tough fight, Kazuma will retreat faster than the ladies. He may be a hard worker and a resourceful fighter, but he is also perverted and lazy most of the time.

June 7th is Kazuma Satou's birthday. Kazuma is quite perverted, but according to what Megumin and Darkness have said, when push comes to shove he doesn't dare to cross the line. Kazuma is always about to lose his virginity to Megumin when he is interrupted. He has even thought that it was Eris who put a "curse" on him. But this has been denied by Aqua, saying that he has no "curse".
