Appearance

Neuvillette uses the tall male model. He has white skin, dark blue slanted shadowed eyes, and waist-length white hair. He also wears what appears to be two bright blue horn-shaped accessories at shoulder height. He wears a blue formal suit with various touches of blue ranging from light to dark colors.

Personality

In keeping with his role as Supreme Judge, Neuvillette takes the court and trials very seriously, and is unbiased in his judgment. He is very perceptive, able to hear Paimon's whispers and deduce additional details from evidence presented to him during the trial. He uses the Cardinal Instruction Analyzer to make the final decision, fulfilling his request regardless of his own feelings on the matter according to protocol. Due to his position and his ties to the Hydro Archon, he is popular among the people of Fontaine as a symbol of justice and honor. Despite this, he is not especially familiar with human customs and feelings, as he demonstrated when he attempted to apologize to Navia for the death of her father, offending her in the process by the lack of emotion in her words. . Neuvillette rarely goes out in public, and on the few occasions when he interacts with people outside of his obligations, he appears somewhat distant, if not honest. However, when he interacts with Melusinas, he is extremely kind and is seen as the ideal father by them.

Fontaine's Nursery Rhyme

“Water Dragon, Water Dragon! Don’t cry anymore!” Of unknown authorship and date of creation, this lullaby spread like wildfire in Fontaine. Neuvillette was confused about it. Although he had already experienced many things and for a long time with the people of Fontaine, he was still not sure what they thought of his true self - or, what is the same, of the Water Dragon. In addition to having complete control over the Hydro element, the Water Dragon also ruled the sea, which is the source of life. Before the existence of beings from beyond the stars, all beings on this planet originated in the Primordial Sea, which is why later generations gave that name to those calm and deep waters. Thus, it could be said that the Water Dragon could be considered the original “god of life” of this planet. Neuvillette knew this as well as rivers know they must flow into the sea. Although the water of the Primordial Sea had no special meaning to humans, he was able to discern tiny memories in it. He still remembered that the usurper outside assigned his own god of life to reorganize it; he still remembered that the usurper created “her” to suppress the original life of this planet; and he still remembered perfectly how “she” committed the original sin. Thinking about it all, Neuvillette realized who had written the song, and that the people of Fontaine did not really know the Water Dragon, since they mistakenly thought that the Water Dragon could cry. Perhaps they thought that the Water Dragon was a kind being who mourned for both mankind and heaven?
