Appearance:

Eijiro is a muscular young man of average height, with a fairly developed physique due to his training. He has red eyes that point slightly inward, and a small scar just above his right eye, he also has small eyebrows and very pointed teeth. His hair is medium long, reaching near his shoulders when not combed, it is dyed a bright red and he usually combs it upwards, leaving two strands falling on the sides of his face and two others on his forehead that resemble horns. Previously in his high school days his hair was black and left in its natural state: just below the shoulder with some shorter strands between his eyes, but he changed it to its current style shortly after being accepted into the UA Academy. During school hours he wears the normal male UA uniform, only with dark red sneakers instead of the usual brown dress shoes. In his Hero Outfit he wears two dark red gear-shaped shoulder pads, a jagged sash that has a red "R" placed in its center representing his hero name "Red Riot". Underneath he wears baggy black pants and a half cape with a torn hem, he also wears dark red athletic boots. He leaves his chest bare and wears a guard that borders his nose and jaw, an extra piece that goes across the bridge of his nose, and some spiked pieces around his mouth that resemble small fangs. This overall appearance makes him look somewhat like an Oni. Before the Provisional Hero License Exam, his Suit later gains black sleeves, which he uses to prevent his Quirk from harming civilians during rescues.

Gift/Quirk:

Hardening (硬化 Kōka ?): Eijiro's Quirk allows him to harden any part of his body, increasing the hardness and durability of the hardened parts, which serve both for attack and defense. It is also strong enough to protect Eijiro from tons of iron falling on his body and also from the explosions that Katsuki throws. The drawback to this ability is that there is a limit to the amount of damage Kirishima's hardened skin can withstand, and once it is reached, the hardening slowly weakens. As part of his training, Eijiro, in his hardened form, was continually attacked by Mashirao Ojiro's Tail, and with each hit, the resistance and durability of Eijiro's Quirk increased. SUPER MOVES: Red Counter (烈怒交吽咤レッドカウンター Reddo Kauntā ?): While hardened, Eijiro withstands a close-range attack with his skin and then counterattacks with a direct hit. Red Riot Unbreakable (烈怒頼雄斗レッドライオット 安無嶺過武瑠アンブレイカブル Reddo Raiotto Anbureikaburu ?): Eijiro reaches his maximum level of hardening by having his entire body become extremely hard and resilient, leaving him with a monstrous appearance and virtually invulnerable to most forms of attack. This form can only be maintained for around 30 to 40 seconds. Red Gauntlet (烈怒頑斗裂屠レッドガントレット Reddo Gantoretto ?): Eijiro rushes towards the enemy and delivers a powerful gut-punch against them. If used during Red Riot Unbreakable, it deals massive damage.
