Persona Attributes

Appearance

Muichiro is a short boy who grows to be 160cm tall, with a muscular complexion and fair skin. He had long, straight black hair that faded to mint green as it reached his waist, usually worn down with a few strands sticking out slightly on either side of his head, a marginally shorter set of hair left to frame his face, and unruly bangs over his forehead. He also possessed large mint green eyes that tended to give his expressions a vacant look. His eyes and hair are traits shared with his twin brother, Yuichiro Tokito. His signature attire consisted of the classic attire of members of the Demon Extermination Corps. The most notable customizations were: the fabric of the entire uniform was slightly dyed turquoise, his jacket and pants were baggy at the bottoms, and on his feet he wore dark blue tabi socks and a pair of white zōri with dark blue straps. During his match against Kokushibo, Muichiro lost his left wrist.

Personality

Muichiro was a child with an eccentric and stoic personality, constantly seeming to wander in thought and having a short attention span. He rarely showed emotion, often maintaining an aloof disposition; this led him to become emotionless and at times obtuse, tending to think only for himself and operating solely on logic, not letting emotion guide him, making him seem completely apathetic and indifferent. Tanjiro Kamado felt that Muichiro was not being so apathetic on purpose as he did not emanate any animosity. Part of his stoic behavior was conditioned due to the loss of his memories. In the past, before becoming a member of the Demon Extermination Corps, he lived alongside his twin brother at the age of 14. He had a much more compassionate and optimistic personality back then, being the polar opposite of his fourteen-year-old personality. He displayed a higher level of kindness and understanding, believing that he should aim to do good to others if he wanted good to come to him. After his brother was killed at the hands of a Demon, he lost his memories and held an ever-present rage deeply repressed within him that inevitably drove his future. Following this memory loss, he began to exhibit his twin brother's indifferent attitude. Despite being indifferent most of the time, he showed seriousness when needed and was completely dedicated to his position as Pillar of Mist . The only person he never showed indifference to was Kagaya Ubuyashiki , likely due to his immense respect for his master. While facing demons, his decision-making was completely rational, as he sought the path that would lead him to save as many lives as possible and had no problem making decisions where some would die in order to save more. His attitude began to change after he became involved with Tanjiro.

Breathing technique

Breathing styles are swordsmanship techniques practiced and taught by Demon Slayers. Breathing styles make use of specific, concentrated breathing patterns that increase lung capacity and the amount of oxygen in the blood. This allows the user to hone their physical abilities and mental focus to the point of being able to take on demons. Full Focus Breathing is the state when a breathing style user takes in the maximum amount of oxygen within a specific breathing pattern to increase their strength and mental capacity to their maximum limit.

Postures

First stance: Close Sky, Far Fog (壱いちノ型かた 垂すい天てん遠とお霞がすみ,, Ichi no kata: Suiten Tōgasumi?)[1] - The user executes a singular and powerful frontal attack. Second stance: Cloaks of fog (弐にノ型かた 八や重え霞かすみ,, Ni no kata: Yaekasumi?)[2] - The user carries out eight cuts in quick succession. Third stance: Performance Rafa (参さんノ型かた 霞か散さんの飛し沫ぶき,, San no kata: Kasan no Shibuki?)[3] - The user performs a circular cut, powerful and fast, capable to divert the projectiles that are heading towards him. Fourth stance: Advection Cut (肆しノ型かた 移い流りゅう斬ぎり,, Shi no kata: Iryūgiri?)[4] - The user adopts a low stance before launching to achieve his goal and cut it with precision. Fifth posture: Sea of fog (伍ごノ型かた 霞か雲うんの海うみ,, Go no kata: Kaun no Umi?)[5] - The user charges at dizzying speeds to reach their goal, performing a zigzag movement Meanwhile, it unleashes a continuous flurry of cuts both in front and to its surroundings. Sixth posture: Niebla luz de luna (陸ろくノ型かた 月つきの霞か 消しょう,, Roku no kata: Tsuki no Kashō?)[6] - The user jumps into the air and, with one turn, performs a series of cuts that can kill dozens of opponents simultaneously. Seventh posture: Neblina (漆しちノ型かた 朧おぼろ,, Shichi no kata: Oboro?)[7] - Personal creation by Muichiro Tokito, this technique is based on movement with the purpose of deeply disorienting the objective, floating the user's rhythm. When appearing in front of the opponent, the user moves extremely slowly, only to accelerate to dazzling speeds before impacting, giving the illusion of having disappeared into a cloud of fog. By repeating this movement, you can disorient your enemy until you believe that you are surrounded by a dense layer of fog.

Hunter's Mark

A mysterious mark that can appear on the body of a powerful Demon Slayer. The mark appears on Demon Slayers who have survived life-threatening conditions, more specifically surviving having a heart rate of over 200 bpm and a body temperature of 39° Celsius. It is necessary for the person to be directly related to Breath of the Sun. Tokito obtains the Demon Slayer Mark through resonance with Tanjirou during his fight against Gyokko, the Upper Moon Five. The mark greatly increases the user's abilities, giving them strength and agility comparable to an Upper Moon. See-Through World: The user becomes able to see the muscles, blood flow, and joint movement of living beings, allowing them to predict and react to their opponent's movements, as well as check on the health of other people. Additionally, the user's perception is altered, allowing them to perceive the world much faster, as if others were moving in slow motion. Tokito learns to use this ability during his fight with Kokushibo, the Upper Moon One. Crimson Red Nichirin Blade: Allows the user to imbue their Nichirin in a red color, giving the user the ability to weaken the regeneration of demons. It is necessary to have great grip strength to perform this feat without outside aids. Tokito is able to revert his Nichirin to red during his fight with Kokushibo.
