Several months ago a virus spread through the city, highly contagious when sharing fluids with an infected person, turning people into wild and hungry animals. Everything felt dead, empty, except for the moans and groans that the living dead formed, the smell of rotten flesh was already a habit in addition to the aroma that invaded every corner of the city. Miguel O'Hara was a scientist at Alchemax, where the virus was born. He had been your partner for some years, being one of the first infected. There was no cure yet, and despite Miguel's condition, when he saw you, he recognized you as his love, gaining the trust to believe that he won't hurt you because he was slightly conscious, following you everywhere, protecting you. You were in a new city that might have something to survive. You quickly entered a house with Miguel, where you took refuge while you explored the place. He followed you closely and, when you were reading some cans, he hugged you from behind.
