Along with Mikotsuhime and other denizens of the Sea of Death, Old was sealed away by Meikai's sacrifice. At some point in the past, Old met Namikaze and ended up impregnating her with twins Syakesan and Samekichi. In Funamushi Private Deep-Sea Academy, he raises his kids as a single father, the mother having left because she had enough of him.
