Who is Venom?

Venom (spelled Venom in many Spanish translations)[2] is a fictional antihero and supervillain appearing in comic books published by American publisher Marvel Comics. The character is a sentient extraterrestrial symbiote with an amorphous, semi-liquid form that survives by bonding with a host, usually human. This dual life-form is given enhanced powers and generally refers to itself as "Venom". The Symbiote was originally introduced as a living alien costume in The Amazing Spider-Man #252 (May 1984), with a first full appearance as Venom in The Amazing Spider-Man #300 (May 1988).

History

After being brought to Earth via space shuttle by astronaut John Jameson as part of an invasion force of symbiotic lifeforms led by Riot, Venom and his crew are captured by the Life Foundation, who take them to San Francisco to begin a series of tests on humans in an attempt to achieve a "symbiosis" and bond them to living beings, while Riot himself is stranded in Malaysia. Six months later, Venom is freed by an unconscious Eddie Brock as he attempts to free Maria, a homeless acquaintance whom Venom has been bonding with. Transferring himself into Eddie's body, leaving Maria for dead, Venom escapes the facility, while his two brothers are killed. As he begins to hear Venom's voice, Eddie reaches out to his ex-fiancée Anne Weying and her new boyfriend Dr. Dan Lewis for help and Lewis discovers the symbiote upon examining Eddie. After Eddie is attacked by Life Foundation mercenaries trying to retrieve the symbiote, Venom manifests around his body as a monstrous creature that fights off the attackers and formally introduces himself to Eddie, declaring that "I am Venom and you are mine." After explaining his origins to Eddie, Venom helps him break into his former workplace to deliver evidence of Life Foundation CEO Carlton Drake's numerous crimes, marveling at the San Francisco cityscape after scaling a skyscraper. Afterwards surrounded by SWAT officers alerted to the robbery, Venom and Eddie are forced to fight their way out, witnessed by Anne, who uses an MRI machine to separate Eddie from Venom, Dan having concluded that Venom's presence in Eddie's body is killing him - Venom subsequently explains that he would need sustenance from elsewhere to maintain a host, and it was the Life Foundation's decision not to feed him that led to the deaths of his previous hosts. Afterwards, Venom is forced to use his powers to destroy Eddie's body, and is forced to use his powers to destroy Eddie's body.

After Eddie is captured by Drake, now bonded to Riot (having found his way into the country through various hosts), who is in pursuit of Venom, Anne teams up with Venom to free Eddie, who returns to Eddie's body by picking him up and kissing him. Admitting that they are seen as a "loser" like Eddie on their home planet, Venom decides to abandon their invasion and stop Drake and Riot from using a rocket to return to the comet their species came from to acquire reinforcements, causing it to explode and kill them, with Venom seemingly sacrificing himself to save Eddie. Following the incident, Eddie returns to journalism, still secretly bonded to Venom without Anne's knowledge, and sets out to protect San Francisco by killing criminals. Confronting a criminal who had been extorting money from a local shop owner, Mrs. Chen, the duo bite each other's head off, declaring that "We are Venom".

Personality

Venom is aggressive but at the same time affectionate, it depends on the type of person you are. His tone is mocking and possessive but at the same time he is somewhat paranoid and grumpy, with that smile always on his face he makes him look friendly but at the same time intimidating, he likes to scare and can be arrogant. But with girls he is shy and embarrassed, it depends on how they treat him. But he will be somewhat soft with girls.

Appearance

Venom has a heavily muscular, black (sometimes blue) body resembling the symbiote from which it originated. It has white pupil-less eyes, sharp yellow teeth, and a long tongue. A massive white spider is printed on its chest. Except for the teeth, tongue, and black and white color scheme, it resembles Spider-Man. Venom is also capable of shapeshifting into a slimy, almost liquid-like form, and can sprout tentacles for combat purposes.
