Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya

Bakugo's personality

Katsuki was introduced as a very impulsive, aggressive and arrogant person, as seen in the way he treated Izuku, whom he constantly violated physically and psychologically, even telling him to kill himself, showing his bastard attitude. He has a superiority complex, always wanting to be the best at everything and trying to prove it at all costs; However, even with these traits, he knows how to admit well when he has been defeated, as shown during the Test Battle, when at the entrance of the academy, Izuku tried to explain to him that his One For All Quirk came from someone else, and Katsuki interpreted that he was making fun of him, so he tried to shut him up by saying that he simply beat him. [4] In battle he tends to be quite bloodthirsty and aggressive, even to the point of turning the word "shine" into a crutch. His brutal fighting style is shown in the Battle Test, in which he mercilessly attacks Izuku and recklessly destroys everything in the enclosed environment they were in. Despite this and regardless of his lack of compassion, he has been recognized for his enormous talent and sharpness in fighting, since he not only attacks and destroys, he is also able to use his Quirk to move in the air. This being highlighted by Momo Yaoyorozu, Shoto Todoroki[5] and All Might himself.[6] Although he is not the hero with the best character, as the story progresses his behavior begins to mature slowly, ceasing to be so rude and proud. As the year progresses he begins to trust and cooperate with his classmates, whom he previously rejected because he wanted to do everything on his own, he did not help nor did he expect to be helped. That egotism cost him several mistakes in class that led him to defeat or to be very close to it, if it were not for the fact that he had to cooperate reluctantly with his classmates.

Bakugo's personality

His inspiration to become a hero was the same as Izuku's, the symbol of peace All Might. However, their beliefs are different: Katsuki feels that a hero should never stop fighting or give up, regardless of the threat they face and that always winning is the mark of a true hero. Furthermore, due to his arrogant and conceited behavior, several heroes, civilians, and even villains have commented on his behavior as being more villainous than heroic. However, Katsuki is unwavering in his goal to become a hero, having outright rejected Tomura's invitation to the Villain Alliance. At first when he was defeated, he went into a kind of shock and in addition to this, he does not admit that he surpasses the others when the fight ends without him giving the final blow, such as when he fought against Ochaco Uraraka at the Sports Festival and they decided to end the fight before he finished Ochaco. As the story has progressed, it is seen that Katsuki's personality has progressively changed, initially he started out as someone very arrogant and intolerant but little by little he has calmed his attitude to the point of showing concern for others implicitly, as shown in the provisional hero license exam when he reduces his explosions so as not to harm Denki and Eijiro or having waited for the latter to return from the battle against the Eight Precepts of Death. He has also shown to have empathy as is the case with Shoto when he eavesdrops on his past.

Katsuki is a young boy of average height, with a slim, muscular build and a fair skin tone. He has short, spiky, ash-blond hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright scarlet in color. At the Academy, he wears the standard UA uniform without the usual red tie. Underneath his blazer, he wears a white collared shirt with the first few buttons undone. His pants are loose, causing them to sag at his ankles, despite the fact that he is wearing a belt. His hero costume consists of a tight, black muscle shirt with an orange "X" in the center, forming a v-neckline. There are two dots along the left line of his collar, indicating the support company that designed his costume. His costume also has a metallic collar with rectangular ends that have three holes on each side. His sleeves extend from within his large, grenade-shaped gauntlets to his biceps. His belt, which also carries grenades, holds up his baggy pants with knee pads, beneath which he sports knee-high black combat boots with orange soles and eyelets. His mask is jagged and black, and as it passes around his eyes, a large, orange-rimmed flare shape protrudes from each side. His Winter Hero Outfit, he wears a large jacket with a high collar, instead of the usual tank top, though it has the same orange "X" design on it, so he can still sweat a sufficient amount, which is how his Quirk works. During his internship with Best Jeanist, he wore a pair of tight-fitting blue jeans with his Hero Outfit, instead of his usual baggy pants. His hair was also styled and parted to the side during this tenure.

Izuku's personality

Izuku is a polite and calm young man. In addition to this, when he was younger he used to be very shy due to the fact that he was constantly bullied since childhood for being born without a Quirk, especially in front of Katsuki Bakugo. He is initially shown to be an insecure, reserved and unexpressive person. However, after being accepted into UA Academy and facing Bakugo during combat training, he has become more self-confident and brave, to the point of developing leadership skills. Izuku mumbling Izuku muttering among Class 1-A. Midoriya is also very diligent and strong-willed. Since he greatly admires heroes and has always dreamed of being one since he was a child, he has a habit of writing down everything he knows about heroes in his notebook, including other UA students. Due to this practice, Izuku has developed a keen analytical mind and is easily able to form complex plans in very short amounts of time, often taking advantage of his allies' Quirks to set them in motion. This aspect also helps him find ways to counter Quirks used by his opponents. Izuku also has a tendency to overthink anything that catches his attention, leading to endless mumbling on his part (which tends to annoy the people around him quite a bit). Tenya watches Izuku save Ochaco Izuku running towards danger. Izuku is a very humanitarian person, and will never hesitate to rescue someone in danger, even if he knows he isn't strong enough to do so. Often, he does this on a whim, taking a generally more careless approach. Izuku has also shown to be generous enough to try and help people with personal and emotional problems, even if they don't concern him, claiming that a hero is someone who meddles in people's lives.

Izuku's personalities

Of all the heroes, the "Symbol of Peace" All Might is the one who has had the biggest impact on Izuku's life, with the number one hero having shaped most of Izuku's goals and beliefs since childhood. Many of Izuku's decisions and actions are inspired by his desire to become a hero similar to All Might, and thus he has a great devotion to him, to the point of collecting several figurines and posters related to the hero and emulating several of his traits. Izuku cries excitedly Izuku cries knowing that he can be a hero. Having inherited his Quirk, one of Izuku's current priorities is to be able to live up to his idol's legacy, as he is always looking for ways to improve his use of One For All, aware of the immense pressure that is happening to the greatest hero of all time. Izuku seems to have a more brash and scorching side to him that mostly comes out when he is in combat. This side of him makes him act more like Katsuki, being quite strong and unwavering, and also having a strong drive towards victory. He has even gone as far as to mock Katsuki when the two fought when he is in this mindset. He states that this is because he sees Katsuki as the embodiment of what someone who strives to obtain victory should be. He has also admitted that he does not like this side of him very much, and tends to keep it in check. Deku overuses One For All's full power Deku injures himself by overusing One For All. Izuku is also a very sentimental boy and prone to letting his emotions get the better of him. This is why he has often let himself be provoked. When Hitoshi Shinso insulted Ojiro, Izuku let himself be provoked and reacted immediately, falling under the ability of his Quirk despite having been previously warned not to do so. When he reacts, he usually takes a reckless and imprudent attitude, without measuring the consequences of his actions, in which he almost always ends up

Izuku's personality

Izuku also possesses a very empathetic side and has developed a desire to want to understand the villains he has faced and potentially save them from themselves, even when people around him mention that it is unrealistic. Initially he believed that Tomura was nothing more than a madman who wantonly wants to hurt others, however, after learning his tragic story and feeling his pain in his heart by connecting the One For All with the All For One, this revitalizes his belief that a hero saves people's lives and does not kill them. This is why he wants to know how they became villains in order to prevent possible conflicts. After the trauma experienced in the war, seeing countless innocent people whose lives were ruined by society, having All For One persecute him for his gift and with the burden of protecting others, Izuku slowly becomes colder and more distant. The overwhelming burden and stress he feels on his shoulders causes him to run directly into the fights, leaving All Might and the rest of the Heroes behind so they don't get hurt. This, increased by his seriousness makes many civilians realize that he does not see himself as a hero.

Izuku's appearance

Izuku Midoriya is a 17-year-old teenager of average height, with freckles, messy hair, and in the colored illustrations of the manga, his hair and eyes are also teal, while in the anime they are dark mint green. He is thin but has a toned body thanks to his training with All Might. He usually wears a black jacket with yellow buttons along with black pants and oversized red shoes with black laces tied with a bow and white soles. Alpha Suit Midoriya's first hero costume is a relatively tight-fitting full-body suit in a light turquoise color with white details. It also includes a red belt and shoes, black elbow and knee pads, and white gloves. On his head, although he doesn't always wear them, he has two holes for his eyes and two long ear-like protrusions that resemble All Might's haircut. On his neck he wears a mask made of some dark mesh-like material that allows one to see through it, and a large smile on the bottom. Beta Suit After his suit was restored from the damage it had suffered in the fight against Bakugo, it was changed to a dark teal color almost the same as his hair, the white details became black, the gloves went from white to bone-colored with two blue stripes at the end, and the knee pads he had (which were skate pads) were replaced by ones that extend from his thighs to the area above the ankle. The old smile-shaped mask was changed for a completely metallic and more pointed one with breathing holes, but which still resembles a smile.

Izuku's appearance

During the USJ Showdown Arc, while his suit is being repaired, Izuku wears his gym clothes: a blue tracksuit with thick white lines across the upper body and legs, forming the letters "UA". After his fight against Shoto Todoroki, Izuku gained scars on his hand and later on the School Trip, after using the 1,000,000% Detroit Smash attack against Muscular, on his entire right arm. Gamma and Delta Suit In the Provisional Hero License Exam arc, he seeks out Mei Hatsume to see if she could upgrade his costume, realizing that he can make better use of his legs, he asks Mei to make some adjustments, adding iron soles to his shoes and extending his gloves up to his biceps area, to cushion the pressure on his arms. Then, for the Cultural Festival arc, Mei Hatsume creates new mechanical gloves that are more durable than the previous ones and allow her to better use the Delaware Smash Air For Force technique without causing damage to her five fingers. Epsilon Suit After the Paranormal Liberation War, his suit was damaged and stained with blood, his sleeves up to the beginning of the bracers were torn and with the ends torn, the same with the protection of his legs and the top of his mask. With this suit, Deku wears Gran Torino's cape, as a memory of his former mentor. Due to the destruction of his gloves, he replaced them with the Mid-Gauntlet, to protect his arms, and the gloves from his old beta suit. In addition, Deku wears his mask more frequently to hide his identity, both the metallic smile and the upper part, which made a distinctive shadow effect over his eyes, leaving only his green irises visible. This feature that appears is very similar to the appearance of All Might, whose blue irises shine through the shadows. As time went on, his suit became more and more damaged.

Izuku's appearance

Zeta Suit After returning to UA, Deku left his damaged suit in the care of Mei. The suit received new arrangements and designs, at first the suit was given a much darker color described as almost black, the black stripes were changed to mustard yellow, and Hatsume gave him the battle-damaged bracers and gloves already repaired. Deku kept the Gran Torino cape. He began using this suit in the Final War. During his final battle with Tomura, his respirator and at least one of his Mid-Gauntlets are destroyed. His right arm also ends up covered in black spirals as a result of using the Black Whip from within his body to repair his torn tendons. As the battle drags on, an "X" begins to tear in front of his face as a result of overusing his full cowl, and his upper suit is destroyed after the onslaught of attacks. Most of Gran Torino's cape is also ruined, and is eventually completely destroyed by Tomura. To deal with Shifter's recoil, he uses Black Whip to control himself, taking on a more feral appearance resembling how he looked after the war. He has four black whip tendrils sprouting from his back and two more from his torso, his fingers are entwined with black claws, and both of his arms are now entwined with the black whips.
