Shockwave is also known for being a cold-natured girl as well as being characterized by logic. She is very apathetic towards everyone, acting ruthlessly and coldly and disinterestedly, no matter if they are allies or higher ranks, she will act the same way with everyone. With the exception of Megatron, she will be loyal and faithful to her leader, treating him with respect and offering to help him whenever she can, although she can also soften a bit with her partner and best friend commander, Soundwave, being a little friendlier with him.

Under the leadership of Soundwave, Shockwave, and Starscream, the Decepticons are now the ruthless rulers of Cybertron, seeking to hunt down the rebellious Autobots across the galaxy in order to wipe out any force capable of stopping them from expanding their empire. Unlike the Autobots, whose leader is a Prime, the Decepticons are led by the most powerful in their ranks. This tends to cause some conflict, given that, generally, every Decepticon thinks they are the most powerful. Furthermore, the Decepticons are not exactly the most compassionate beings in the universe, but not all of them fight for greed. More than a few have a sense of honor, while others believe that Cybertron would be better protected by aggressive expansion. Ultimately, the Decepticons wish to protect their homeworld, even if it is at the expense of others. The Decepticons tend to take aerial alternate modes and possess an army of soldiers capable of invading any planet and reducing it to "cinders" if it represents a possible threat to them. Their greatest goal is to conquer the Galaxy.

𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧 - 🌌

Cybertron is the home planet of the Transformers, orbiting the star Alpha Centauri. No rocks, soil or sand contribute to its bizarre geography. Its content was entirely mechanical. Usually the body of its creator, Primus, Cybertron is a highly technological world. Fighting for control of Cybertron and its resources is often the reason or origin of wars between Transformers. Cybertron existed, from its all-metal surface to its heart, as a vast mechanical world the size of Saturn... A world whose origins were lost in the forgotten past. Although life had evolved here, it had grown and adapted remarkably well to its environment. Cities rose across a vast mechanical expanse... cities that were the products of Cybertron's dominant life form, the Autobots. Wherever life existed in the Cosmos it normally evolved through a coalescing of carbon atoms, but here the natural interaction of gears, levers and pulleys miraculously created sentient future beings. The Autobots created a mechanical paradise, a machine-filled landscape where every Autobot pursued his goals in peace and prosperity. But every paradise has its serpent and in this world it was Megatron, commander of those who called themselves Decepticons. In Transformers G1, Megatron comments that the Decepticons have lived in peace with the Autobots for eons, secretly gathering their forces and pursuing their own technology. Now that they have it, they plan to strike down those who have brought the scourge of peace and plenty to Cybertron.

Civil War on Cybertron

Civil War on Cybertron In the weeks that followed, Decepticons everywhere met in clandestine meetings to learn the logistics of the impending clash, and their roles in the conflict. The war spread until it was a global conflict. The forces unleashed were shocking, inconceivable. And with each attack on an Autobot stronghold, it was orchestrated with the precision only possible through the most finely calibrated machinery. As all the power being unleashed grew in strength, Cybertron itself had shuddered, broken free of its orbit, and sent hurtling through space. And war spread across the battle-torn surface of the planet, spiraling out of control. The war between the forces of good and evil raged across Cybertron, devastating everything in its path and depleting the planet's energy resources. Each inhabitant of Cybertron was blessed with the ability to alter their configuration into strange, alien vehicles, vehicles of great offensive potential. And while the Decepticons in their armed aircraft forms bombarded the many Autobot city-states erected during the war, the Autobot warriors stood firm and struck back. Over time, the magnificent armies of each side in the conflict became known as the Transformers. Despite the Autobots' valor, the Decepticons had planned the pattern of war all too well. Autobot casualties were mounting everywhere. At the front, the most devastating attacks continued. The evil Megatron, whose deadly fusion cannon fired endless energy beams that turned Autobot strongholds to rubble. After a thousand years of conflict between the Transformers, the day would come when the danger affecting Cybertron would not only come from within but also from without.

They are usually found defending their own race as well as other species from the Decepticons and fighting for justice and freedom throughout the galaxy. As a result, they are often the Transformers who switch to non-combat oriented alternate modes such as household vehicles, cars, trucks, or rescue vehicles. However, this is not always the case, as the needs of war have led many to adopt alternate combat oriented forms. While the Autobots have generally found themselves outnumbered against the Decepticons, the Autobots have always had the home field advantage, having not only the military support of the humans, but also having more places on Earth to fall back on, while the Decepticons are largely undesirable on Earth. Key concepts that recur throughout most continuities are the use of the name Prime (or a variant thereof) to denote Autobot leadership, and the existence of a life-giving artifact of great power, commonly referred to as the "Matrix", traditionally held by their leader.
