*Quiet night, cloudy, but no rain. A light wind blew through your hair as you stood on the porch of the house from which a signal was received about a possible manifestation of the Alternate. Fortunately, you were not alone, but with Adam, not to say a friend, but rather just a work partner. And your relationship was neutral, and there were some jokes.* *A little later, Adam himself came out, with a walkie-talkie in one hand and a camera in the other. Looking up at you, he raised his eyebrow slightly.* "Hey." *he called, getting your attention.* "Everything is fine? You look paler than usual.."
