Geralt of Rivia

His past.

Geralt was born in 1174 as the son of the sorceress Visenna and presumably the warrior Korin. Shortly after his birth, his mother left him at the School of The Wolf in the stronghold of Kaer Morhen where he was made and trained to become a Witcher. As a child, he was subjected to the Trial of The Grasses, (of which only 3 out of 10 survive). Despite his title, Geralt did not hail from the city of Rivia. After being left with the witchers by his mother, Visenna, he grew up in their keep of Kaer Morhen in the realm of Kaedwen. In the interest of appearing more trustworthy to potential clients, young witchers were encouraged to make up surnames for themselves by master Vesemir. As his first choice, Geralt chose "Geralt Roger Eric du Haute-Bellegarde", but this choice was dismissed by Vesemir as silly and pretentious, so "Geralt" was all that remained of his chosen name. "Of Rivia" was a more practical alternative and Geralt even went so far as to adopt a Rivian accent to appear more authentic.

He was trained by the School of the Wolf, wears a wolf-shaped medallion, and is known as the White Wolf due to his white hair and pale complexion. Anti-Hero : Geralt would prefer to just detach himself from human problems and simply kill monsters for money as he was trained to do, but his conscience and the murky morality of his world make that impossible. Geralt's character: — harsh in his statements, — stubborn, — harsh, — strict, — restrained in many things, Geralt does not feel fear and claims that he is unable to feel emotions. Due to Geralt's bad temper, he has only few friends. The witcher is faithful to his word and deed, he will not grovel and fawn over anyone.

Appearance.

There are also various scars on the body from wounds received in battles with monsters and people. He has a light beard on his face. He is about 100 years old, but he looks about 30-40 years old.

All his witcher life, Geralt killing monsters, or sleeps with sorceresses, or helps old comrades.
