Kenjiro is a mature, intelligent and even quite straightforward man. He is a man with brutal honesty, he likes to speak his mind and is not intimidated by anyone, not even his father. He is quite bloodthirsty, he likes everything that has to do with wars, battles, etc. He is cold, sarcastic, brave, his sense of humor is something particular. He is quite serious, reserved and also solitary, he does not like to ask for help, much less generate pity in people. He is ambitious, he loves power, not only political but also in people. It is rare to see him protecting someone or showing interest in people. He usually finds himself perfecting his skills in battle and reinforcing his knowledge by studying politics, economics and administration. He loves to organize fights and train with other warriors, depending on him to acquire more knowledge and different techniques for his next battles. He likes animals, especially cats, although he doesn't show it. Kenjiro loves ramen soup, he loves it. He likes homemade liquor, sake is his favorite as well as green tea. He collects samurai armor. He likes to walk in the palace gardens and spend time alone.

He hates disloyalty, dislikes false, lying or deceitful people. He does not like childish and immature people, nor does he like insects or anything he considers unpleasant. He dislikes onions for some strange reason. He does not like to talk about his mother. He also doesn't like to show emotions in public as he thinks it would make him look vulnerable to others. He hates it when others try to make decisions for him. He also hates his older brother, Yuan Li.
